Re: NEW Vaterra Twin Hammers Discussion

I can't wait to see what some of you guys do with this one!"thumbsup""thumbsup"

Re: NEW Vaterra Twin Hammers Discussion

I'm disappointed. No kit version? Thats the only way Id buy it because I prefer my own electronics and I already have all vehicles on one radio system. That and with scale vehicles adding your personal touch is important to me and its hard to do that with an RTR with no aftermarket at the moment

Re: NEW Vaterra Twin Hammers Discussion

The rear axle construction looks a bit flimsy. Other than that...

Why didn't Axial make the EXO like this. If I hadn't just bought a Wraith I would be tempted.

Re: NEW Vaterra Twin Hammers Discussion

Unlike the Exo, THIS interests me. Scale? Smaller than a Wraith? This could be cool. I want to know more about the internals. Locked diffs (all three)? Does it share parts with other kits (like Wheelie King/Axial axle internals)? I wonder how durable it is?

Looking forward to learning more about it...

There isn't a center diff.
Front diff is an open 4 gear diff and looks to be sealed so you can tune it with fluid. Rear comes locked, but the case looks like it could use the front diff internals if you wanted it open. probably could use the rear locker up front for full lock.

Re: New line from Horizon Hobby

It's a new brand. :)

yes, yes, after a quick search on thee old interwebs, I got that. Seems like everything they are doing has "scale" in mind. Which is awesome. Great to see brand new stuff.

Fr/rr are interchangable from parts explosion, so locked or open, however you want.

Front and rear are not interchangeable according to them having different part numbers and a different width. "thumbsup"

Re: NEW Vaterra Twin Hammers Discussion

They are smaller then the others but pack a way bigger punch! Wait until you drive one

You again! F-ing tease!:flipoff: Guess I'll have to make it to the next Rally event so I can see one up close:mrgreen:
