New line from Horizon Hobby - Vaterra

Re: New line from Horizon Hobby

X2... I'd like to see maybe some new tubes made for this that makes it so you can use XR/Wraith knuckles and C's and turn these axles into a Sporty...

Very cool!

I dig the smooth diff cover on the axle:

Re: New line from Horizon Hobby

I went into Hobbytown about two years ago and saw a exo. I said to the guy, "I really wish somebody would make something like Shannon Campbell's IFS buggy." I'm really diggin it. I wish this had come out before Christmas. lol

Re: NEW Vaterra Twin Hammers Discussion

The rear axle construction looks a bit flimsy. Other than that....

After looking at parts and all, I have to agree little worried about rear axle housing durability. Tires look great, wish they were 4.2 or 4.3 inches tall, I'd try a set on my Honcho! 4.1" is shorter than Flat Irons 4.2"

Re: New line from Horizon Hobby

Thank God they used metric hardware on this!

Cool looking rig. Sure it'll be popular.

The beauty about this hobby is the fact you can come up with our own beefed up fix for the rear axle. who knows, maybe a scx10 axle would be modded to work? lol

Mods are nice, but I shouldn't have to reconstruct/re-engineer critical parts like the rear axle....it's 2013... :ror:

Thanks, checkin it.

I like those Camaros too, but you'd think with all the time into making those bodies look real, they'd ditch the body clips in favour of hidden body posts.
