you will love that chasis"thumbsup"
I hope so :)

Oh dayum! Looks great with color!

Love mine! The high clearance rears were never used so much as they are with this chassis!
The links are currently still the titanium links that are for the switch v1 and the switch Zero.
Maybe you could optimize something there.

Looks awesome thomas"thumbsup"
I am excited to see how you like it.
I will test it on May 4 at a Fun Comp.

I was just saying the links are needed more now then with the switch. (In the greatest way!) The higher belly leaves room for rock to get to the links before it gets to the tires.. ( all a great thing!)

The first test drive is done.
The crawler works really well with the new chassis.

I have installed the rear linkmount from Axial, unfortunately, the rear upper links touch the motor.
But, meanwhile, have renewed the upper left.

Today came by post the new Voodoo tires Ottsix.

I once installed the gold version.
Foams as I have used the Close Cell 5.0 "with soft outer ring soft and tuning.

Hope that I can make the first test this week-end.

When dry & clean they are incredible, I got some water moss mud combo on mine and I could tell the difference the rest of the day. I'm running voodoo golds up front with a mixed cut n shut on the rear with khaoss pins an rovers split 50/50, the rovers seemed unaffected while both types of pins were compromised in traction. So if your ever in Ak and there's a chance of moisture on the trails, I'd have to suggest the rovers. But if its dry, your Spider-Man with the voodoo golds.

Disclaimer: my exp lvl with RC is much less than most of you guys, but my crawling hrs aren't.

I spent the last few days something tinkered with my crawler.

Have times the weight system rebuilt with the parts of Manu.
At the same time, I also immediately replaced the steering lever.

And since the new Voodoo tires did not work with my chosen Foams, I have now installed the matching Foams.
Thus can work even better in the front wheels of the Foams, I have the InnerFoams be modified a bit.

Are now:
in the front 6.0 Close Cell.
in the rear 5.5 Close Cell.

Re: Farmertom's XR10 Chaotic Switch Smash

I hope that I can test even the tires in the next few days.
The last week including the weekend it rained continuously.

First test drive with the voodoo tire is made.

With the 6.0 in the front and the 5.5 foams in the rears the tires really good.

Next weekend we have a Fun Comp.
Let's see how the tires are working in competition.

Here are a few detail photos of my Smash for Orph3o.

The front linkmount has 4mm spacer is between.
I have mounted the links on the chassis at the second lower hole.

the height under the skid.
fully unloaded: 85mm
ride height: 70mm
full suspension compression: 47mm

but I have the voodoo tires on it currently. These are 5.5" high, the Losi Boss Claw only 5.25".
