I figured I would start a new thread on my TT-01 mods..
as far as parts
Running Integy XSR7 on all 4 56mm-59mm (Stock are 53-55mm)
Trackstar 11.5t 3520 kv waterproof
Trackstar 80A waterproof esc
Bluebird 616Dmg waterproof steering servo
Hpi 26mm 6 spoke w/ 6mm offset on all 4 (rear as A 3mm extension hex nut) I run 200mm rally Bodies
Tamiya Rally block tires
Hpi pirelli rally tire s compound
Tamiya TT01 tie rod hop-up
Tamiya TT01 alum shaft
Sealed Bearing
I run Hpi Rally 200mm bodies. The reason I run 200mm body is a basic reason center of gravity. You lift you go wider..lol
I packed the gears with marine grease
Chassis cover is a big thing in rally (TT01 chassis Covers are hard to find and get) I've had some failed test ideas the new one is a Hawaiian Punch jug that i have cut to fit the chassis and put velco on the sides it seems to work pretty good so far.."its not race tested yet.
I did some cutting and mods
If you cut the skid plate like the pic below then add the shock and Tie rod hop-up that will get you the height you want..I normally run 30-45w shock oil in the shocks (depends on track) with preloaded springs. For some pics check this thread.
