I assume the stock motor is a east/west motor? for the AWD? if so I wonder if this is gonna be a RWD conversion too?

Just saw this on another forum!!!! Slap a couple turbos on there put some skinnies on and some m/t drag radials out back and have fun watching the guys who thinks their gt-r is b.a. get their arse handed to them :lmao: sorry im sure there a really fast ones out there but im just a huge LS fan "thumbsup"

Stock is longitudinally mounted.

Yup, not sure about the R35, but the 32, 33, 34 were all laid out like a 4wd truck with IFS.

I'm wondering what it would be like if they found a way to keep it AWD yet run a twin turbo LSX motor:shock:

Don't forget what an I-6 that puts out 1700 at the wheels AWD does.…

Ah, I learned something today, finally. Previously they were I6 motors. I see the R35 is a V6. Even better for boost with two banks and space instead of cramming two turbos on one side.

I honestly like the I6 platform cause of all the room on the sides versus in front. I've worked on Supras and was involved with turboing a 350Z. The Supra was much easier due to the layout. And I practically needed a lift to change the plugs in my old 4th gen Camaro.

Good news about spark plugs today is they almost don't need changing.

GT-R uses coil packs on the top of each bank. Moot point.

Google yo! And what new cars these days don't have individual coil packs on top of a twin cam, or four cam? Serious question.

I know Todd personally, we're allowed to talk a little crap. "thumbsup"

Even the R32 has coil packs with plugs right on the top. That was three generations ago and produced from 93 to 98.

I looked cause I was under the impression it was the same I6 motor as the R34, which was badass.

Been working on cars since I was 14, and I'm 38 now. I've even changed plugs on 4th gen F bodies before.

Mine were almost new in the SS but I was going for 12's on my stock car and wanted it to be as fresh as possible. Ended up squeezing out a 12.80 on a "stock" 02 SS. Raised the rpms 500rpm to keep from hitting in the last 100'

ive changed the plugs on my 4th gen fbody. i got a little stubby socket modded just for the task that i used a ratchet wrench on. it was a pita but wasnt too bad to do the #8 with that. getting leverage to pull off the plug wire however.. good lord... i got the car with 28k on it and im sure the factory plugs and wires had never been pulled.
