Hobbyking lied to me again! Do not buy!!

Well they screwed my $166 dollar order 2 months ago. Me being the kind guy I am I figured maybe someone there had a bad day.

So I looked for a similar 2s pack to fit a very small battery tray on a Tamiya car and it said it was in the U.S. WAREHOUSE. So another $42 goes.....BAD MISTAKE.

Well it's been another 1.5 months and it has been marked shipped. Checked tracking and it does not exist.

What? do they expect us hardworking AMERICANS to just take it and forget about it?

I don't know what their problem is. IF YOU HAVE ISSUES PUT IT IN BIG LETTERS ON YOUR FRONT PAGE THAT LIPOS MAYBE DELAYED!!

Instead they hide it in their fine print.

Sneaky sneaky sneaky. I wonder how many other people got upset at them these past few months?

Last time I will ever buy from these losers. Not worth my time, my headache, and definitely not worth OUR MONEY!!!!

Have you contacted them? Any issues that I have had they have fixed for me quickly and for free. When I order batteries from the us warehouse they come quickly too.

Were the packs you ordered showing "in stock"? I just ordered from them last week on the 10th and had shipping notice and tracking on the same day. My order is due to be delivered this Thursday. They ended up using UPS instead of USPS for some reason...otherwise I would have had it today or tomorrow...but I'm fine with that.

I'm going through the same thing with them now. ordered 3 lipos from the US warehouse, they were marked in stock. I have tried to email them but no response. I am going to be filing a paypal suit in one more week. They are kinda hit and miss it seems.

Have you tried calling them? I have placed probably 7 orders with them. I had one order that was marked pending for a few days. I called them and they fixed the glitch and shipped that same day.

Like these fine gentlemen have said, if its in stock in the US warehouse I have never had an issue. One has to be careful and order from US warehouse and it has to be in stock.

They do have an online support setup do they not?
Try using that rather than email them, they must see a million emails a day, odds are most of them never get read.

They have a notice on their site I believe that says that they have recently had some serious issues with their overseas shipping and customs so their customer service people are EXTREMELY busy trying to sort out those issues.

International Warehouse Order Delays : HobbyKing Support Centre

Of course the shipping issues should have only affected the international shipments. That's why I asked if you knew for a fact that what you ordered was in stock at the time you placed the order.

ive placed 25 orders with no issues from either the hk or uk warehouse and i wouldnt have waited for 2 months for a order to arrive i would have been on the phone or sent a email well before that

I have dealt with problems from them many times emailing them does nothing make sure to have your order number written down and go to the 24/7 live chat its at the top of the screen by where u log in they will get u taken care of the support at hobbyking.com is useless just talk to the live chat from my experience they have always made things right

Yeah lol but in the same email I got about the international shipping thing they r having problems with I said they are going to open at least one more US warehouse and at least one more support center in the us so I bet they r routing people with ?s in the US to the US support center

But, i also had the thought that they are so geared to be so damn cheap...That i would gladly pay an extra 10% "please dont screw up" fee. Only thing i will buy from them is lipos cause i dont know where else to get 800-1600mah 3-4s lipos. After i sent a trouble ticket, they did email me back, but wanted me to send a scan of my credit card. Wtf, I purchased 2 orders, one international, one domestic, within 20 minutes of each other. International came within 4 weeks but the domestic never shipped and then they wanted a scan of my card. I emailed them back told them that wasnt gonna happen and to cancel my order. Finally got refunded 3 months later(recently). Pissed me off and i am the easiest customer to please. does anyone know where to get cheap lipos in the 1000-1300mah 3 and 4s flavors?

Give this guy a shot. I have had excellent customer sevice and returns/exchanges were super easy.

I ordered from them on the 7th, nothing updated until the 9th. Then it finally said my order was pending but the money had already been withdrawn on the 7th. Then a rep said it'd be "rushed out of the warehouse asap" 2 days later I get a shipping number that doesn't work. I made certain my items were from the US warehouse and in stock and pais extra for priority shipping. To this day still nothing. Needless to say Im not happy about their customer service either. They said they had even the janitors answering phones due to the fire in a German warehouse. Maybe the janitor messed up our orders? I think he should stick to emptying trash bins and leave the shipping to someone else.

Turns out they used UPS for mine too. Shows delivery by the end of Thursday. So much for the extra $$$ I paid for the 2-3 priority shipping.

Ordered from Hobby King on the 3rd of October through ebay because my ass is basically covered as far as tracking and processing speed. Auction says the item is in Washington State and would be shipped usps priority mail. Great, Washington to Baltimore is always 3 days... On the 7th I receive an email that my payment has been processed. LOL ok, since paypal... anyway.. so where's my esc? Nearly anything I've ordered off ebay is there in 3-4 days. 5 days if it's a lazy private seller and not a company's ebay account. Maybe it'll arrive on the 8th.

Shame on me. On the 10th I finally get an email from ebay that says my order has been shipped. Great. Then I see the tracking number, "1Z...." Aw hell naw. They sent that shit UPS ground? Are you shitting me? It'd be literally quicker to put it in a saddle bag and send it pony express across the country.

Anyway, still waiting.

All the other things I ordered at the same time off ebay from other vendors arrived within a few days after I placed my order, even the shit from Hong Kong. Granted, should my package show up this Wednesday the 16th I'll be glad to get it. But after 2 weeks wait? Sure they aren't based in North Korea? Sneaking products out in some hand-dug tunnels??

These days there are just better options. Granted if you are willing to wait, you may be able to save a few bucks but to me it just isn't worth it. Hobbypartz or any old hong kong ebay seller move much faster.
