So im an avid smoker I go through about a pack every 10 days or so and if im drinking ill go through em even faster, who uses ecigs and is it worth the swap? Does it really hives the same feeling as smoking a cig? Can it be used indoors? How about battery life? How much is the fluid? Which one should I get? Are ebay vaporizers worth it?

Im looking at this one, http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=321287523884

I actually quit smoking using a e-cig. I used the ego-t. I tried a couple of others with no luck I went from a pack a day with them to a pack a week but when I started using the ego-t I went to smoking nothing within a couple of days and slowly cut back on the nic levels till I quit. This is a link to the one I got and where I got all my stuff the liquid and all. Joyetech eGo-T Starter Kit - The Best and Most Popular Electronic Cigarette

As far as the battery life the one I used in the link the battery lasted me all day on it and it comes with 2 so you could always carry both. There are several different ones but from my experience and research the joytech stuff like the ego-t seemed to be about the best.

I have one now and loving it. I have the 1 cell lipo which last me 2 dyas or so before I recharge!

Thanks guys, I have a 3yr old and im 22 so I started thinking about the future and all that jazz so I wanna quit completely soon, thanks for the link craddock and dean your running a lipo.?! What's the BEC set at? lol

You have the best reason in the world to quit. A young kid.

I have tried many times over to quit but this so far has been the only time I have actually quit for more than a day. I have not touched one for about 7-8 months now and have not touched the e-cig in about 4 months. I didn't quit for a reason other than I needed to quit but little did I know that its a good thing I did cause now I am having back and neck surgery and they said I had to be quit for 2 months before they would do the surgery and they tested me. So I apparently did myself more good than I knew at the time.

I have a couple and I LOVE them !

I quit smoking all together with mine before my fiancé had our baby.

I started with just a small one then upgraded and then upgraded again lol
It's another small hobby of mine.

This is what I started with cause I wasn't sure about the whole thing lol

Good info guys, and I grew up seeing my dad smoke and drink and thats what i do now but i wanna break the cycle now that he's young and wont remember.

So the one im watching on ebay isn't a good one? I guess the blue led attracted me lol

I have a buddy that smoked 2 packs a day but switched entirely to a vape. He's actually opening a vape shop since its catching on with so many people.

I was a 2 pack a day smoker for 20 years. I tried the gum, the patch, pretty much everything out there but that Chantix crap, and nothing ever worked. I started vaping in August of 2012 and I've been quit ever since. I still vape, but nowhere near as much as I used to, and very low nicotine levels also. As someone mentioned above, it can turn into another hobby so be careful about that if that's not what you're after. That being said, high end e cig gear is a totally different thing from the cheap mall kiosk crap also, no different than RC's. It's also much cheaper month to month, I make my own e liquid as well. One, it's much, MUCH cheaper, and two I know exactly what I'm putting into my lungs vs buying commercial stuff that I have no idea what's in it. I do still have a cigar occasionally, there's nothing that tastes even remotely close to a good cigar in e liquid.

2-3 packs a day (rare occasions 4..) for me until i quit 3 years ago with the losenges, which i still take.

the most important thing for me was to break the inhaling addiction of the nicotine delivery. you guys that vape as an alternate to smoking, what would you do if you were unable to vape?

i got alot of friends who vape, some who never even smoked, and all its doing for them is fortifying a nicotine addiction under the guise of it being 'safe'...

dunno what my point is really...

You smoke 2 cigs a day. You are not a smoker. Simply reduce the amount per day by 2 and you are good. A true addict smokes at least 1 pack a day probably more like 2 to 3 packs a day. I smoked 3 packs a day for years. I quit cold turkey and have been smoke free for the last 6 years. Gimmicks do not work: however, will power does.

Well let me rephrase that then, every time I get in my truck I light one during the week maybe 4 total a day maybe 2 on my lunch break, idk how many packs that is but usually one maybe 1.5 a week,

Also no one's given me pricing for a good one, and any good flavors? What's a good nicotine level for me? Moderate?

i'm using an ego-t batt with a vivi nova tank (rebuilds are easy and the coils are not expensive) and really like vaping over smoking, especially in public.

the original atomizer that came with my kit was a pain, it was nigh on impossible to clean the coil and really a poor quality unit. the vivi nova is a really well thought out tank with 3ml capacity, so no more carrying extra fluid. all stainless and nothing about it feels cheap.

the ego-t battery is a great starting point, and they have a large option set to choose from. i have just a standard 650 mah battery, lasts about a day with heavy use. there is everything from variable voltage to direct usb charge batts available in the ego-t line, so you won't be limited unless you want the really high end setups with variable wattage and voltage or the ability to charge from the pack to a phone.

my 2 cents is that it is a huge savings and doesn't stink up the house as much. only thing is to make sure you can do a burn on the atomizer coil and that parts are readily available for whatever setup you choose.

When they make one that truly taste like a real cigarette I might, but so far calling them tobacco flavored doesn't make it so.
Who the hell wants to smoke a chocolate cigarette.

They also as far as I know aren't regulated so who the hell knows how much nicotine or other ingredients you are getting?
