Hey guys,

A little bit about me, I normally wheel a 2.2 wraith but decided to venture over into the 1.9 class, but I wanted something different, yeah sure I could have done curries or scx axles with the xr mod done, but you see that everywhere. So i though outside the box for a few days and went to my spare parts drawer. Now back in the day I had a G-made R1. Recently I offed it to a friend who has done absolutley nothing to it, so I offered to buy it back from him and basically got a piss and vinegar response. So off to the interwebs, more specifically RPP hobby, and ordered up a set of R1 axles and the aluminum 7 degree chubs, aluminum link/shock mounts, upper aluminum link mount for the rear, need one for the front too, a 2 speed tranny, jevne battery plate, gearhead sixer beadlocks, hot racing internal spring air shocks (may get swapped for some kings), and hot racing aluminum scx10 shock hoops. Then over to holmes hobbies for an unusual suspect, a 2000kv outrunner motor for the torque. Also, on the R1 axles I have a set of Tamiya DF03 knuckles from 3racing so I can have high steer as well.

I remember one of my first threads I couldn't get a crappy venom radio to work, so I bough a dx3e, and one of the responses was rich kid from someone, so naturally it has stuck with me for the time being in the back of my head. So naturally when it came time to name this beast, it was Project Daddys Money.

Now weve all seen how a scx10 chassis gets built so I'm not going to bore everyone with that, but rather show you my progress so far.

Here she is in all her magnificent glory!

and now onto the flex shots.

Now onto the next step,

I need to order bumpers, but I am at a stand still. I like the RC Rock Armor more specifically these two:

RC ROCK ARMOR - SCX10 Rear Bumper with Led Holes - Black
RC ROCK ARMOR - Slayer Winch Bumper - Black

Or the Rc4wd Tough Armor ones:

RC4WD Tough Armor Rear Tire Carrier for Jeep Cherokee / SCX10
RC4WD Tough Armor Competition Stinger Bumper to fit Axial SCX10

The RC Rock Armor I like a little better because it has a place for a rear winch.

But let's hear it, what do you guys think?

Looks awesome!!! Was thinking about doing the R1 axles on my scx10. How much wider are they than the stock axials?

Well I've got a few updates for you guys.

Got some 100mm Kings on it now, also got the front bumper worked out, just need to finish up the bracing. The bumper work is being done by werty on here.

I should have another update tonight for some new parts coming in.

Also the new RC4WD Warn winch, sucks. flat out period sucks. well i guess it's not that, more the controller and their customer service of being told it shorted out when hooking 3s lipo up to it and poof went the white smoke and being told I will have to buy another unit.

Well, here we are three days away from the GSRCC Scale endurance #8, and I am proud to say that the truck will be there and running in the 1.9 class.

Here is how she turned out!

The paint is actually not black either, in the sunlight it is a very dark purple and I think it totally makes the whole look of the truck.

Also picked up a set of the new RC4WD Compass tires for the event and I am anxiously waiting the arrival of my Crawler Innovations Deuces wild foams too!

She RUNS!

A few shots from my test run in the back yard.

Also got the dingo interior mocked in place. I cut it too short on the cowl, but oh well. Live and learn and keep moving forward!
