Hey guys, I've always wanted to build a hot rod or rat rod of some kind and started searching around for descent rollers for sale over the summer. I ended up finding and buying this one a few months ago on Craigslist, and couldn't be happier..! Its an all steel 1930 Model A Ford truck, sitting on a fully boxed and reinforced 1930 frame, the cab has been chopped 3" and channeled 2". The bed is from a '34 ford truck, and has been bobbed and reversed. Its got a 4" dropped front axle, front disc brakes and stops on a dime. Its got a brand new crate Chevy 350 engine and turbo 350 tranny, and to top it off, its actually got a Dana 44 rear axle out of a mid 70's Jeep grand wagoneer..! ( yeah, I'm glad its got some Jeep parts in there somewhere..! ha ha ha ). The guy I bought it from had the right idea, but some of his welds and choice of components were just plain wrong.
Plans for this one are simple, re-build it the right way, changing everything that dosen't look right or belong, and then with minor bodywork, and new flat black paint, get this thing ready for cruizing around next spring ! "thumbsup"
