GT3B Hack Question and Answer Thread

Haha finally... Do not forget to check the bind plug...mine got no continuity!!!! Replaced it with the old one come with the radio...walllaaaa...Bound!!! Tq guys

Thanks but I can't use Ch3. My current configuration is:

Ch1 front steering
Ch2 esc
Ch3 rear steering
Ch4 2-speed trans

Ch3 and Ch3TRIM buttons are used together for rear steer mixing so all I have is the D/R switch to use. I guess I could use the back and end buttons if I absolutely have to but I'd like to just use the D/R button if its possible

Then swap channel 3 in my recipe to set the values needed for your tranny. Then you can use the channel 3 button (the one down in the middle of the grip) to toggle between high and low. "thumbsup"

Has anyone now our have tryed to bind the FS-iR4 4ch on a GT3B/C, I have a 6 channel but 6 channel dont have the failsave like the 3ch, and just sow that the FS-iR4 4ch has failsafe, if it would bind it would be grat for those like me that only use 4 ch.

one more thing... cannat reset dig using ch3. follow the instruction u guys give. templete and so on....
what i mean is.... propoortional dig im using d/r trim.... momentary front/rear lock using ch3 trim... everything fine
how i wanna reset proportional dig using ch3 button?

This did not work for me. For some reason when I have everything hooked up and as soon as I plug the battery in the winch starts to run constantly. No matter what I do it doesn't stop unless I unplug the battery. Please help.

If it's 2 position using -100 and 100, follow my instructions above for transmission. You can change the button assignment to a trim, and that would be:

Assign DIG to the CH3 Trim Switch with a momentary action
Scroll to REV, LONG enter
Scroll to 3, enter
Scroll to BMO, enter
Scroll to RE0, enter
Scroll to PV1, LONG enter
Press back/end a few times to get back to main

Well just resolved problem, but camed another .

Now another problem, I instaled the ch6-0.1.0.s19 firmware, when setting the lower voltage on the instalation manual it says

Step 8:
This step is for firmware 0.6.1, possibly others. In 0.6.1, defaults are setup for the GT3B. To
change the defaults, turn the radio off, then back on. Now press and hold enter for about 2 seconds
(LONG-enter). This will open the global setup menu. Scroll until LOW POWER is blinking, press
enter. scroll to 3.00v, press enter, scroll to H, press enter, scroll to E_R. press and hold enter for 1-2
seconds.
This changes the low voltage alarm to 3 volts and reverses the scroll wheel so it acts normal.

but I cant set it to 3.0v it only gets to 7.5v doesn't go down from that , and the it says scroll to H, only appears L,F,r,b has anyone had this problem, my radio is the GT3C but I think that is the same firmware used as the GT3B.

Can someone give a help here please?

You HAVE to use 0.6.1 for the GT3C
Why are you even using 0.1.0?

I need a new LCD for my GT3B. anyone have one/ know where I can get one?

Does one of the modded Flysky radios work for go fast vehicles? Like SC104WD and 2WD trucks. I would like to have one radio for all 6 RCs(two Tamiya rally cars, an SCX10, and 3 SCTs). I have been running the kit Associated radios. Would a Flysky GT3B or GT3C be a good option for my RCs?

The winch usually has a neutral and in/out, if you plug the winch into your steering channel what happens at neutral and full left and full right? Once you know that, then you can program the value for the multi-position switch.

It works fine with fast RC's.

Great call, I put it into the steering channel and it works with zero issue. I just need to know exactly how to set up this 3rd channel.
Thanks for all the help

sorry if this has been covered how do you change the direction of the dig, after I rewired I switched it so that I push forward and it turns off the front I want it to be the opposite again.
