Rowdys there's no "I" in team Bully 2

I still think metal arms are the best way to go. I have broken several CF arms on my XR. Switched to metal, no issues. I hope you still release them. I like that an RC4WD Driver designed and created them. I am hoping to get into a Bully2 next season."thumbsup"

Like I previously stated I wanted to try josh6575's setup because if it solves the issue I believe it's a better route to go than extended arms for a couple reasons.
One being less parts, two being more torque from the servo, three if you can make the short steering knuckles work the speed they offer is great, four the tie rod sticking out farther in the front with the extended arm setup caught on stuff more than the tucked bent rod.

I have been using these servo horns since I saw guys using them on supers, they are long if you need it and BEEF, and also great for this application due to the 1/2" from mounting screw tie rod mounting location. They are a double sided horn but it's easy enough to whack one side off.

Here is a pic of mine all mounted up, I will trim the outside 2 holes off the horn once I deem the setup is worthy. First impressions on the bench are good, and if josh6575 says it works that's good enough for me!

That's the servo horn to use if you want the most out of your steering. "thumbsup"

Your products have been on the top for a long time. Hope you still make some.

You'll go blind doing that!

I think your new set up will be an improvement over mine with the shorter arm and increased travel. I need to figure out how to get more travel out of my jr servo.

Anyone tested the servo horn with the arm extensions. Maybe we need more, more, more...

Not sure that will need to be done. Reality is that the shorter arms will react better. finding the right geometry, IMO will be the answer to it. And I think Rowdy is onto something.

What he said.
VVV

Credit goes to Josh6575, he pointed me towards this alternative route, I thank him for his genius.

Where are you guys putting your batteries with this setup?

I have my battery right where the servo link would cross over the axle.

I was planing to release my steering arms this week but it seems I have fallen victim to another rip off artist, so buy yours here and good luck.

http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/axle...97-ecd-bully-2-extended-steering-arm-kit.html

I tried contacting Rowdy privately as an adult to try to clear things up. He decided to act like a child and would rather make accusations, talk about people behind their back and call people names, rather than discuss things.

So, here's the truth about his accusations.

I cut a set a couple sets of servo, battery plate and electronics mounts that were similar, but not a verbatim copy as he accused. The first was for a friend so he could have items in white G10 to match his color scheme and a couple other sets that I gave away. I didn't make a penny on the items and had no intention of ever selling them. I found out yesterday that Rowdy had been making comments at Battlegrounds about me copying the NCD. If he had approached me I could have explained that I wasn't selling them, but he didn't. He chose instead to make comments such as the one in my vendor thread and on his build thread.

I was then approached by the same person to make a set of arms. I knew that Rowdy had cut a set as well as Turbofest. I saw a pic of something on Turbofest's build thread. When I was asked to make them, I was asked if I could do an offset extended arm. All measurements for the arms (as well as the other items) were taken from the Bully 2 axles and were built to the specs that I thought were appropriate. After I cut them, we fitted them and came up with a setup of screws, spacers and positioning of everything that I thought would work best. My friend encouraged me to offer them on here. I checked to make sure nobody else was selling any and listed them. When Rowdy posted in here, I was ticked off by his accusations and then later told that he had pm'd the guy I originally cut everything for and also that he had called me a Rip-Off artist on his build thread.

I waited a day as to not say anything rash and I tried to contact Rowdy explaining that if he'd contacted me first in private instead of with public accusations and name calling, I'd gladly back off and hand the product line over to him. His replies were childish and rather than work through this, he chose to accuse me of trying to start an Internet pissing battle. This coming from the guy who chose public accusations and name calling instead of privately discussing the issue??? He said that he was over the issue, but refused to take down any slanderous comments, which clearly proves that he wasn't over it.

It's disappointing that this is how he chooses to be, as a vendor, RC4wd team driver, or even as a representative of the crawling community. Public accusations and slander of others with no regard for the truth of how it played out or anything short of immature pride do nothing but hurt this hobby along with the person being slandered.

EVIL:
I waited a day to respond as I do not wish to have some childish fight on the internet. I merely wanted to clear up a few things.

First off, in regard to the servo, battery and electronics plates for the Bully axles. Billy asked if I could cut some pieces for him to match the color scheme he wanted. They're not an exact match of any available, but close enough that I was never going to offer them for sale. I had the file loaded, so I cut a few more for the giveaway. I made absolutely no money on any of it and don't plan to.

Next are the steering arms. Once again, Billy asked if I could come up with something, and I did. All measurements came from his axles and from my own idea as to what would work, and I assembled the rest of the pieces around it. He suggested that I sell it, so I checked the vendor section and listed it.

If you feel that I infringed upon your territory, you should have come to me about it, as a man, instead of PM'ing other people and making childish accusations and calling names on the forum. I have enough different products to sell, and I'd have backed off without issue. It would be worth the few dollars in potential profits in order to have the vendors and competitors get along better online and at the comps.

The ball is in your court. You can either continue jumping to conclusions and acting like a child or choose to communicate like as adult and move past this.

ROWDY:
I have moved past it.

EVIL:
Obviously.

ECD Bully 2 Extended Steering Arm Kit

I am still not sold that they are necessary see josh6575 thread for an alternative.

ROWDY:
That was yesterday.

EVIL:
And it's still there today!

ROWDY:
Yes.
And today I have moved on, and you should as well.

EVIL:
And as soon as your public slander of me is taken down, I will.

ROWDY:
Turbo and I worked on and tested these for weeks I had them on my truck at BG and billy asked me for a set now a week later your selling them and you don't see an issue? Look back in my thread for proof that this was not your idea and that billy asked me for them. I will not take down anything, it's the truth and I stand behind it.

EVIL:
And I hadn't seen your thread until it was pointed out that you called me a rip off artist in it. I don't spend a lot of time searching build threads. I looked on the vendor section and so no products. It's not that tough of a design. I merely copied the shape of the steering arm and added 1/4" to it.

Had you contacted me privately, like a real man, and explained, it wouldn't have been an issue, and I'd have backed off. Instead you chose to air it publicly. Just like if you'd talked to me about the other items at Battlegrounds, I'd have explained that I wasn't going to sell them.

You chose to escalate things publically, though.

ROWDY:
You want to keep talking and being a man why didn't you say anything to my face at BG last weekend.
Please leave me alone, I do not wish to continue dealing with your childish Internet pissing match.

Thanks,
Chris

EVIL:
Had I known you had a problem with something I did, I would have tried to talk to you to clear it up. As I've gotten older and more mature, I've found that it's usually worth the effort to try to clear up such confusion through communication. I guess you're not there yet. You've proven exactly who you are. As far as a pissing match, I was trying to communicate with you. Your public accusations and name calling are the pissing match. Either way it's quite obvious that nothing more is going to come of this. I hope at some point you grow up before it's too late for you.

I'm done.

ROWDY:
I am grown up and twice the man you will ever be.

Men do not falsely claim things as their own and then blame the originator when it's pointed out to them.

After all of your past transgressions on this site you are the last person with a leg to stand on towards anything you deem incorrect.

You have a problem with calling people immature or not men when you have been shown before that you should not throw stones in your glass house.

Take a look in the mirror from someone else's point of view and not your own delusional portrait you have of yourself and this situation maybe you will see the error in your ways.

It's all there people I have nothing to hide and appreciate all the support I have gotten.

If that's your idea of harassment, you seriously need to grow up. All I asked was you to take down all of your slanderous accusations and name calling here and in my vendor thread and it would have been over.

The definition of slander:
To make false and damaging statements about (someone).

The truth is not slander...
