Hello,

Is there any crawler chassis for wheely king axles from vendors or something to buy??

Also, are there better choices for lower link mounts? Now I have crawler king version and they have a lot of slop. What do you guys suggest?

Here is some old cad fileshttp://offroader5.freeservers.com/templates.html
And an ancient thread.http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/hpi-wheely-king/103271-scale-chassis-template-wk.html

Thanks for your reply. In thread you show me has a chassis from neweramodels, use stock transmission (a little high COG ) but looks good. However as you said, thread is old and neweramodels don't have it.

I have never used CAD and really will be difficult for a newbie.

I like the style of this chassis-build..

Best suggestion I can make for you is to hand draw something you like for the chassis, mock it up in cardboard, then cut it out in the material of your choice, I like poly cutting board from Walmart. I have done several chassis this way, it takes practice to get a perfect chassis but its fun.

This is a good idea but I am not so good to handmade constructions, for that reason I search something ready for wk!

if you still have the plastic balls in the rod ends swap them out with some steel ones and that should take care of the slop.

I already run aluminum links with steel rod balls.I think the problem is the plastic lower link mounts.

DNA made a cool WK chassis, But I'm not sure where if at all you can find only anymore.

I have been using the HR ones with success.. dont forget the locktite..

I want a mount with more holes like this.I don't know if I'll have the same problem with these.

I have seen two kind of chassis.

DNA RC Wheely King Chassis Kit , DNA200

SK Motion: DNA R/C Wheely King Pro Comp Chassis

The second is what I looking for but I don't know where can I buy one.
