Porsche also offers an even faster version of the Turbo -- the 2014 911 Turbo S -- which has 560 hp and 520 lb-ft of torque on tap.

That one will reportedly accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds, which is quicker than it took you to read this sentence.

No doubt. If drew the straw that put me in that seat, I wouldn't have even bothered to put it in gear. AC on, radio on, seat back, eyes closed, and have myself a little siesta.

Oh hellz yeah. Give it airbags that double as pillows, a noise canceling capable stereo, and a seat that acts like a laz-y-boy when you recline it and I'm in!
 
I was surprised that the Porsche edged out Godzirra but I was more surprised that the z/28 won best drivers car. I love that car but it is very polarizing. I know Motor Trend is going to get a lot of flak for that decision but its hard to argue that the new Z is the best handling Camaro to date. I would love to hustle that thing around a road course for an afternoon (come on GM, throw the blind guy the keys to your 505hp pony car... sounds perfectly reasonable to me!).
