You have to narrow it down before you start asking what people prefer or you get lots of answers. I was trying to find the right size first then that would probablyhave been my next question. i was meet with sarcasm so i responded with sarcasm then eeepee jumped in. I kept my cool till early this morning. I got home and had 5 or 6 pages of crap. So when in rome. And here we are. Go back and read page 1-5 or 6. I really didnt mess with any body till this morning.
I have read it all, several times actually. Post #5. Again you already knew you wanted a 1.55 tire. This actually narrows it down quite a bit. Rc4wd or pit bull. Both have detailed stats, and pics are so overly abundant. This forum is, in usage, the exact same as every other forum.

If you put forth the effort, do your own leg work, even as easy as google, the forum will show you some basic respect. The point being, you want tires right? 1.55s? On a TF2? Search ' 1.55 rc4wd tf2' in Google's search engine. Proceed to the images section. This is basic research. It helps tremendously. Even if you don't have a favorite tire due to lack of experience, this basic research can give the correct questions to ask.

And some humility goes a far way.

The rocket science and get a pencil and paper is what warranted the dick reference.

The rocket science was probably misinterpreted sarcasm but the pencil and paper comment was just to simplify it in case you were a noob. Which by the fact that you took no ones advice from the beginning and lacked the effort to search for your own answers tells me your either too lazy or lack the intelligence to use the search tools you have at your fingertips. have some humility and dont be a butthurt asshat just because someone answers you in a way that didnt give you what you wanted on a silver platter. Just my 2 cents..

The emotions that we are able to understand in a one to one talk are rarely put into words while on a forum. There is always a possibility of miscommunication.
The guy that commented about rocket science etc was not trying to go against you, but in a deeper sense was trying to help you. Sometimes our own expectations become hinderance in the path to our goal.
I do understand that you were genuinely trying to solve your problem and you must be a great guy in life (because of your straight forward nature), but in a social circle we need to be a bit more flexible and let things go.

At least he spells good. Pretty rare for a troll. It doesn't do anything for his credibility, but its something...

Incorrect. #2 on the list of infractions in the Forum Rules is "Inappropriate language." That qualifies as inappropriate, particularly when followed immediately by your pencil comment.

I kept my cool till early this morning. I got home and had 5 or 6 pages of crap. So when in rome. And here we are. Go back and read page 1-5 or 6. I really didnt mess with any body till this morning.

Also incorrect. See above. That wasn't keeping your cool. It was messing with someone.

i was meet with sarcasm so i responded with sarcasm then eeepee jumped in.

Incorrect again. You responded with profanity, then EeePee jumped in. Then you responded with a thinly veiled threat ("probably would have got punched" if having the conversation in person) and more profanity.

You have to narrow it down before you start asking what people prefer or you get lots of answers.

You're getting warmer. The Forum Rules do a great job of setting expectations. From the Helpful Tips:
"Use the search feature alot, there is an enormous amount of information here. Search before you post."
"1) You gotta be able to take some ribbing around here to survive.
2) Respect is earned, not deserved."
And about the Newbie section:
"There is absolutely no flaming allowed in the newbie section."

So it turns out this place isn't actually that hard to figure out. You narrow it down by searching before you post. If you can't find what you're looking for, earn respect by letting people know what you tried before posting, and be as specific as you can with your question so that you don't get either (a) answers all over the place (as you were initially trying to avoid), or (b) people ribbing you for failing to look first or for asking a question that's too vague to answer. If you're really not sure what or how to ask, post in the Newbie section, and everyone will treat you with kid gloves until you find your way.

I was trying to find the right size first then that would probablyhave been my next question.

So post the following in the Newbie section:
"I'm running Ripsaws (4.3" OD) on my TF2 and think I would like to switch to 1.55 wheels with tires close in size to the Ripsaws. Here's a picture of my rig as it now sits. What are your recommendations for 1.55 tires that are close in size to the Ripsaws? Can you post pictures with those tires mounted on a TF2?"

I guarantee you would have gotten lots of help and saved yourself some grief. This place really isn't that complicated.

Really so why dont you name any section besides the newbie section. Asshole section. Pretty lame excuse for treating people like shit, which section they post in. The fact that you made rules regarding acting like assholes is even more interesting. Its all my fault really. I should have known better than to let myself get sucked into all this shit with a bunch self righteous opinionated grown men who act this way and try to justify it by where you ask a question. Wish I could go back six months when the thought popped into my head that buying a rc car would be a fun thing to do. Your right if I had searched the forum more I could have seen how everyone acted and saved myself some time dealing with you all. Im out selling off the rc cars. Its really not worth it.But if any of you are not over it my address is 13213 south ontario avenue ontario california 91761. Try and talk to me like this in person and I will act accordingly.
