Looking for a good set of hex drivers

i bought a Dynamite set and the 1.5 and 2 have rounded out twice already. i cut the tips on both and they work for a little bit. i think they were only like 15 bux or so, so i cant complain, but its time for something better. a buddy got the snap-on set the other day and looks pretty nice. i am leaning that way.
any reason not to?

gonna have to second or 3rd or whatever a set of Wiha tools, the "precision" is a small handle, the softfinish is more of a full size handle. It would be awesome if Wiha offered the hex drivers in Microfinish.

If you have money to burn and like having the best of everything check out Hudy. HUDY

I love my set, light, heavy knurled finish, super strong tips, ergonomic, and just nice to use. The only downside is the price.

Should also mention that before I got the Hudy tools I used the Integy set and they were actually really nice. I built and maintaned many kits with them for years and they never rounded or broke. They also felt really nice in the hand. A feature that I also liked was that each wrench was a different color so it was easy to find the right tool.

What company between mugen, mip, eds, dynamite and hudy make the most durable hex. I dont have a problem with the apperance(e.x ugly mip's)

Since most of my RC stuff in a house fire last summer, I am in the process of replacing everything and needed some hex drivers. I ran across this thread and decided on some Hudy's. Bought the standard/metric set from Amain. Looking forward to receiving them. Figured a little bump to this thread might help others as well.

I was getting frustrated with middle of the road hex drivers twisting off in my MIP screws, then I ran across these on the SnapOn truck. I'll never use half the set, and they were $60, but full warranty picked up and dropped off at my work is a good thing.

I've turned on the 1.5mm as hard as I could grip and the tip held up. Something I can't say about other brands I've tried.

Those look very nice. I just got my Hudy set and only complaint is they didn't label the size anywhere. I will break out the micrometer and label them myself. I just think for the money it should already be on the tool.

Any recommendations for nut drivers. Need a good set for wheel nuts etc? The ones I have don't go deep enough and I have to switch to a pliers for the last bit.

I've had a set of nut drivers from Ace hardware for close to 10 years now, I haven't used them for rc's but they have held up great! (The printing pf the sizes has worn off but each one is a different color so no biggie!

I recently bought a set of wiha hex drivers after seeing them mentioned in this thread. I was using my old hex keys before and a cheap multi bit set and these are worth the money after just one wrenching session on my rig ! I bought the wiha nut drivers after using the hex drivers but they haven't arrived yet and I'm considering buying the wiha micro screwdriver set also. I usually buy quality tools for work or in my garage but sometimes hesitate to spend the extra money for my toy truck hobby but not anymore.

I have EDS, Losi, Associated, Dynamite, and MIP drivers. Never stripped one, and the MIPs go back to when they were Thorpe and are over 20 years old. For nut drivers I use a Craftsman 1/4 drive handle and sockets....
