Ottsix Voodoo KLR

Will you lot stop swinging on this blokes nuts, and let him hurry up and finish these bloody things.......:lmao:

JatoTheRipper, just be thankful you don't live in Australia knackers if price is a worry:shock:

No no no you don't know what you're talking about. Only jatotheripper knows anything about anything.
No, it's just the opposite. I voiced my opinion. It was simple, fair, to the point, and I did not attack anybody. If you make a statement on here that goes against the drink-our-Kool-Aid-or-you're-not-cool high-school mentality of the RCC clique, you are attacked. That's what happened here.

Haha! :lmao:

It's spelled "ridiculous". And no, I'm not being ridiculous. I'm voicing my honest opinion and giving constructive criticism. Just because you disagree with it doesn't mean it's ridiculous.

Yes, I'm sure Pitbull, Proline and RC4WD sell more tires. I don't base my purchasing decision on what company sells the least or most of a product. That never factors in. What does factor in is price. The other manufacturers are going to continue selling more if they have a comparable product at a lower cost. And no, not everybody goes right to CI foams. I'd venture to guess most people in this hobby don't even know CI foams exist. Those same people might not know that Ottsix exists either, but your "everybody buys CI foams" is invalid.

Anyone in this hobby segment who doesn't know that Crawler Innovations exists needs to think twice about being in this hobby at all...they're literally the gold standard for high performance foams and have been for quite some time"thumbsup"

I run CI foams because they work great. Good enough for me to spend the eXtra money. However I do agree with the previous poster that most scale and crawler enthusiasts in general have no idea about them . They are more of a competition set up. Most enthusiasts I know are still trying to make their memory foams work. LOL

As far as that goes the majority of enthusiasts in my opinion don't even know rccrawler exists. I am constantly made aware of this. And is probably why proline and even rc4wd make scale tires outside of the sorrca limit of 5.75". There is simply a larger sales base than what rccrawler, or sorrca encompass.

Sorry. Getting way off topic.

No what you did was act like a know it all douche bag but if that's how you simply voice your opinion carry on.

What is it with tire threads lately? Good thing these new 1.9's weren't announced at 4.76" tall or all hell would break loose in here.

It's tire withdrawal. Everyone is getting agitated until they can finally slice the bag open and take a big whiff of that secret rubber compound. Well maybe not, but it's more fun to pretend that's why.

On a side note, 4.76 might as well be the new number of the beast 'round these parts.

Super stoked on the release of these tires.... cant wait to get a set for my SCX10 Build....

Now how to i pre-order these tires ????

ummmm maybe i didnt explain it right. :flipoff:

btw your gold compound actually stained my wood floors (i rent so nbd), everywhere i had my yeti sitting theres 4 perfect little stains of the tires contact patches. 8)

HOLY CRAP! Thats what that was!. I have 2 perfect circle yellow stain's pop up on a knee wall capped with white trim about a month ago! It has been driving me nuts wondering what the heck those stains were from! Thanks I may just sleep a little better tonight

I love the tread spacing on the new tire Matthew! Looks a lot less like a mud tire and more like a A/T or Krawler tire...Very Nice!!

Now I just need a set before Nats this April, think we can make it happen? ;-)

"thumbsup"

No no no, IIIIIII need a set before Nats. You're doing just fine on your tires.

hey Matt i should have your rear housing and shafts done by the end of next week. your going to run the 225 hubs right.

Very excited for the release of these tires! We use Voodoo U4 2.2 on our open class yeti and have been super impressed with the performance. We have a dedicated U4 1.9 trail class on the work bench right now and these KLR tires are what we are going to use on it. Matt knows how to make a tire and it's been proven time and time again.

...and of course they will be filled with CI foams, the only foam if winning matters!

Is there plans for a 2.2 scale tire in the works? (Not u4)

Would love to have a great crawling tire besides pit bulls and swampers.

Thanks"thumbsup"
