Boston Crawlers - Event #1 - April 11th 2015

not going to be making it out for this first event but rock island on sunday is looking promising. maybe i'll catch some of you there.

Well, started a new job yesterday, first job since moving back. Weird not being completely self employed, but I will have saturdays off, made sure of that as I see most of the BC events are on saturdays :) Told my brother that if my nephew doesnt stay out of trouble I'm not bringing him! See everyone saturday!

Sorry Duelly, Next time!

JB we run all our Comps on Saturdays so we don't conflict with other clubs, and the following Sunday is usually held for a rain date.

Jeb, Sorry you cant make it. You are not talking about Rock Island this Sunday are you?

New to the site, had my scx10 for a little while, only have 1.9s so it'll be run what you brung

Swing on by. You can run that in our "run what ya brung class". I think Brian is also bringing out the 2.2s loaner rig if you want to try that as well. So worst case you get to hang out with some dudes and play with toy trucks "thumbsup"

I'm really gonna try to make it, been building my rig slowly all winter and need some rocks. Single dad of an eight month old, so it's not easy.

Hopefully we will see you Walking_wounded. I can imagine that will be a tough sell to the momma.

On Another note a new Vendor in the area is going to be supporting our Series. Still working out the dine details but for our first event Purpmart will be donating his cut and shut service to the Winners of the Pro class and Shafty class (You supply Tires). They will also be donating one set of Narrowed Silver Dot VooDoo's to the lowest score on the Purpmart course. (Course will be determined on Saturday before the event has started).

Thanks to all the love we get from our Crawling Vendor Friends. "thumbsup"

I was on 128 near wakefield today and didnt even think to check on the snow levels in the woods around there. Here on the northshore its still snowy in the shade, was dry out by Worcester away from the coast. Anyone in that area have a better snow condition report?

Weather is looking good at the moment. No rain and almost 60 degrees.

The area we will be crawling is under the power lines exposed to a lot of sun so i am sure the snow will be gone on the rocks, but I would wear some boots that aren't afraid of mud for the walk there.

Registration is at 10:00, but people sometimes show up a half hour or so early.

Nice to see I'm not the only one bringing a little one. My 3yo will be with me. Of course my servo crapped out wheeling in the kitchen last night so I have to find a replacement. Anybody have any for sale?
