Temecula Area Fresh Start Non Commital Meet Up Thread.

Hooper : you get to try a new burger place tonight?

No, Wife picked up Wings N Things but while I was waiting for tires to be put on my truck I wandered over to Del Taco and had Super Nachos or Nachos Supreme with all the stuff and Jalapenos. Ruined the old appetite.

If a guy got hold of an HPI Ford body and put it on a scaler with some 1.55 wheels, now that would be something.

I have decided to convert my E10 into a scaler with a Xtrail chassis or scx and 1.9's.
So I am going to start collecting parts. What I do need is an old beat up body. Who has one for sale?

New bodies are a bit pricey. And I don't know what I really want yet. Nothing stands out that I have to have yet. Plus I am new to crawling and I would hate to destroy a brand new body

I know a guy, knows a guy, that has a beautiful 1.55 ford &That car can really crawl.
Waiting for a morning creek run to drive it again.

Anyone going to the G6 down in San deigo this Saturday?

We did a 2.2 pro comp there 2yrs ago. The dirt lot is very small. They had a hard time setting up 3 courses in the area.
we were all fired up to go untill I looked up where they were having it. No..we're out.

what time is everyone meeting tomorrow night? I'm still working on a baby sitter, wife has to work. Hoping to have parts in tonight to make some changes before Saturday.

Used to have some but got rid of them. You can often find decently priced bodies at the local hobby store. I have some decent used Axial black 8 hole beadlocks I'd be willing to sell for a really fair price if you're interested. Black plastic rims with aluminum beadlock rings.

Like these but not brand new.

Can't make it out Saturday night. Couldn't find a baby sitter. Is anyway available for a Sunday morning rainbow crawl? I can't wait to check out how my latest round of improvements do

This is a scale G6, very much different then a pro comp, plus this is a different club event then two years ago. Catch you guys next weekend for a night crawl hopefully.
