Nice pics....looks like you got the steer link figured out. How'd your whole front end feel. Tight? Extra bearings help? HaHaHa.& how did the adjustments work out for dirtman?

It was better but I still have issues and I dont think it is TT. I crested the top of a hill and drove away and stopped....still on 3 wheels. So the links and or shocks are binding somewhere. I will figure it out"thumbsup"

Got some 1.9 wheels and tires and scx10 shocks.

All I need is a chassis and body and build me some links. Found me a new Deadbolt body for $40 Shipped...Might have to take it but would like one used

RPP hobby has a brand new complete chassis for $49.99 in the Salvage yard section, it is for a Honcho but that is the wheel base you want, 12.3 inches

Well I can tell the difference of the smaller tires I got to do things diferently and I miss the little bit of extra clearence and the dont have the bite like the 2.2 rovers

I do have a set of 1.9 chisels on the way too

Yep, gotta work a little harder to find that sweet spot. A new chassis and a Deadbolt body and that thing will be the bees knees!

You will have a blast once you get used to driving a scaler, it's a more a realistic type of crawling, like they said its all about tire placement and picking your lines better

Dont get me wrong there are a few spots I have a hard time with or just cant do. But other spots seem like a walk in the park. Its always nice to have a good challenge"thumbsup"

Yeah you will definitly have different challenges but at the same time it is more rewarding when you make a difficult climb or a crazy transition
