What? With 3 Yeti Xl's you don't have different combos in each?:lmao:

That is the 1st time i have heard a 1900kV tekin is not enough. Is it the buggy or Truggy Motor?

You could go with a TP motor like FordFreak95 http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/axial-yeti-xl/545775-mamba-xl2.html

I am running a T8 Gen 2 2000Kv truggy (4038) motor and it works great for me on 4S.

It looks like you might have the buggy motor which is probably a little lite for the Yeti XL

Cmbscx10 I have now 4 1/10 yetis and 1 yeti XL and you bought the last one I wanted

That 1900kv motor is a buggy 4030 can correct? Get a 4038 2000kv motor and you'll be happy. Unless your looking to build Something different then heck...the sky is the limit.

My rule of thumb on ESC motor combo for the YXL ESC amp rating should be equal to or 20% higher than the motor, if the motor has a higher amp rating than the ESC best case a hot ESC worst case ESC burnout, of course gearing is a factor too but all things considered I tend to be on the safe side. On KV rating the lower the number the more torque 2200 is my ceiling anything higher than that will cost more heat. For can size 40 series motors or motors with up to 42 mm diameter is the YXL's limit, longer can is better 63 mm is my shortest limit.

Not sure what can it is I sent it to tekin
For a magnet failure should have it back today
And I'll look
Thank you

I see a lot of people running 2000 and 2200 kv stuff
I was just not sure what works the best on 4s

Yep it's the 4030 can

Yea the 1900 is 40 x 69 mm
Where as the 2250 is 42 x 77 mm
I just ordered a tekin t8 gen2 2250
Thanks for all the help
