So i have started to build my first Garage and have a few questions but first would like to thank all those who post in this section. Your photos and projects have been an inspiration and given me plenty of ideas.

I am using my 3d printer to create as much as I can and relying heavily on Thingiverse for designs.

Does anyone know of a good working ToolBox design on Thingiverse? I have tried tis one a few times and it does not seem to want to print well
Tool Chest (1:10 Scale) RC Car Accessory by johnny6 - Thingiverse

All the other stuff I have printed, cans, smaller toolbox (top chest), pylons all work fine.

Second question i have yet to find a good source for a 2 post hoist. Any suggestions?

Instead of relying on Thingiverse, why not take a course at a community college and get some basic training in a 3D design software, then design your own parts? "thumbsup"

I agree with BigSki. If you are just getting into design/printing perhaps its helpful to look at others designs BUT, just try to understand why they design things the way they do. That will help you tremendously in the long run with your own designs. What is the problem you are finding with this one? Also, what type of unit are you using? Do you have your own software as well? Maybe I can help you out. "thumbsup"

I can't remember specifically what was wrong with that file. It has been a bit since I tried due tot he holidays. I just remembered trying it 3-4 times and it being a mess. Spoke with some other local RC people who have 3d printers and who continually turn out decent stuff and they said they were unable to print either. I wll try and rerun it today

I have tried to learn 3D design so many times over the past 15 -20 years it is not funny. Back to the Original 3D Studio Max days. Just can not wrap my head around certain things and not sure if it is the 3d part or just CAD in General. I can take pencil to paper at drafting board and create a functional drawing, but put me on computer and it goes in the toilette. SAD part is I am an IT Guy with 25 years experience.
