I kinda consider it more of a "trucklette", since it's a station wagon with the bodywork over the cargo are removed and that portion of the vehicle turned into a small pickup bed. In reality, it's much like the ElCamino, Ranchero, Rampage, Caddy, Brat, and the Aussie Utes from Ford, Holden, and at one time, Chrysler......only now it's being sold as a 4dr instead of a 2dr like most have been over the years.

I think that would also fit the Outback models too.................a friend of my kid Sister bought an Impresa Outback in that Pea Green and Silver combo some years back and she thought it was hysterical when I told her that her friend bought himself a Lezbaru.......guess he didn't appreciate her calling it that either.

Yeah, there was a non-scientific study done in Portland, OR, and they found lesbians were more likely to own a Subaru Outback than any other car.

If it's not a truck, then what is it? Sedan? Station Wagon? SUV? Something else?

If you haven't guessed, I made this poll because I just bought one.

The name 'truck' does not even come close to that cross breed CAR.

Many moons ago I learnt that Americans call SUV's as trucks. Before that I understood trucks as semi trucks or 10+ ton carrying capacity vehicles, because thats what they are considered pretty much everywhere East.

I believe the same way. Trucks have a gvw over 20k lbs in my world. I'm licensed for 105 but only legal in OR for 96 so I'm running 94900 lbs today.

42 ton is a lot. No wonder if you are pissed by cars that are slow or don't move out your way.

I'm just over 43 metric ton today. Now that I got my truck back cars don't bother me as much. I have over 100 hp and 300 ft lbs of torque with the new engine and 4 more gears in the trans so on the open road I cruise right along.

It's in traffic that card are an issue with an honest 3 out of 10 drivers trying to kill themselves via truck every day.

Can I get some clarification on that/this?

I searched for a Forester XT for long time... even talked with a couple guys about trading my 06' WRX. Could never find one under a 100k miles in my price range.

Finally found one of my og dream cars that fit the bill.
89' Audi 200 Avant (5 cyl, turbo, AWD with a push button locking rear diff)
Tuned and a stiffer wastegate spring has me at about 240hp... It feels like it pulls harder than my WRX but no real numbers.
Want to get it over 300hp

BTW, Subarus are practical... and so are a lot of lesbians (I think that's why they don't bother with men).
