So for some reason the combo of Insision links and SSD pro knuckles came up a little short. I noticed the new rod ends on the trees fit in between the two Traxxas rod end sizes.


Worked out pretty good, the traxxas balls seem to fit as well.

Luckly you got spare Axial rod ends to solve the problem as RTR version doesnt have. I have the same problem as you had even I am using all stock parts.

What is the length of the axial rod end? I am trying to get something similar.

Yeah I would probably even go lower actually, the 3500 on 3s provides plenty of wheelspeed

I'm using the Castle MMX and the HH PP 3500kV with an 11T pinion and 64T spur on 2S and I also want to drop down even more on the pinion. That would give me more low speed control for crawling and when I wanted more speed I could pop in 3S.

I'm probably going to end up just running 2S and on second inspection, I've got the 3300kv HH motor.

I'm mostly going to be crawling w/ my son and his deadbolt (stock) so I don't need it to be a speed demon, that's for sure.

Got a set of SSD’s new Champion wheels. Throwing some threadlock at all those ring bolts and I’ll get them bolted up. I went with the Black with natural rings to help with hiding scratches and leave future color options available.
