i think your in the lead, i believe my best was a 3:27.

i wonder if dirt 4 will be arcady like all the other Dirts?
i gotta say i dont care for the cars shown, except the old red evo. i dont like any of the modern rally cars.
the buggys look cool, and im always a fan of pro2/4 trucks although they didnt show any.

for some reason im not excited about it. the night time graphics did look amazing though. but could be cutscene, not gameplay?
Arcade games sell so I'm betting it won't be a sim.

From the chatter on the interwebs, Codies knows that Dirt Rally was a big hit, and that the physics played a big role in that. Rumor has it they're going to combine the physics of DR, and the game modes and track selection of the early dirt series. If it works out that way, this could be our game for getting our trophy truck fix.

hope so! but most likely they will be on closed courses, ie pro 2/4 style. not open world point to point baja style.

i watched some vids on the new 911 GT3, its got traction lights like the real race cars, when the car looses traction/spins the tires the lights on the dash light up letting you know.
sounds were also mentioned to be well done.

on that subject the (real) 24 hours of Daytona is this weekend! so i will be a couch potato for all of saturday and sunday morning. cant wait!
air mattress-check
wife bringing me food-check
bed pan-check! :lmao:

I have the Thrustmaster TX Leather Edition. It is starting to emit a loud "click" when turning under heavy FFB. I'm pretty disappointed. This wheel wasn't thousands, but it certainly isn't cheap. Has anybody else had this issue? How's Thrustmaster's customer service? I'm not sure if I should go directly to Thrustmaster or to B&H Photo where I bought it.

sounds like clipping. probly need to turn your FFB down. iRacing has a nice meter for that at the top right. if the meter goes red or orange your cliping, ie youve got the FFB set higher than what the wheel can put out.
often creating clicking sound.

This was in Automobilista. It never did it before at whatever FFB settings I have, but I will check it out. Thanks.

It didn't do it tonight in iRacing, but I also didn't race on any tracks with horseshoe turns like I did in Automobilista.

yes! i hope theyve worked on FFB"thumbsup"

Nicely done! You did a great job syncing the music with the racing action. That white car gave you one good shot from behind!

I was all pumped for the Dirt update of iRacing until today. I read that they can't get the dirt handling down so there won't be any sideways action. I'm having a hard time believing that. You can't have a dirt sim without being sideways in the corners. Have you guys hear anything about this?

i dont follow it much. not really interested in dirt on iRacing.
Dirt Rally has that nailed and the cars i want to run.

the only one i might try would be a winged sprint/outlaw car on iracing dirt. but i would HAVE to be able to get sideways. and also lift the inside front would be awesome too.

Nice driving Cory.

And we need a dislike button, I want DIRT dammit. :flipoff: Dirt track racing is a totally different thing from WRC, and I want both.

got my attention!

iRacing posted a new dirt video on Facebook and they show sideways action so I'm not sure if the people were giving me false information about it.
