My hobby shop notified me that theirs (and my pre-ordered Fox one) are on the way and should have them by the end of the week. And that's Canada. So... wow.
i would be shocked if they are sending yours. we are a traxxas dealer and we tried picking up a 2nd udr (one for display and one for demo) and they told us that they are only shipping out one truck per dealer and that was all they had the inventory for. we even tried switching from the rigid truck to the fox truck and they said they couldn't even do that . but our truck is going to be here wednesday so they are shipping

Sounds like the same BS Trek bikes has been doing the past few years. They'll announce a new model, give out a few to the bike mags, and sell maybe 50 of them to get hype on bike forums and magazines, then none are available for purchase once all the hype has been driven to the max. Basically, it's just creating artificial demand by making people think they're much more popular than they really are.

Hope it’s wrong but I saw an offical Traxxas MAP pricing update from $749 to $779. Not that much relative to the full price but just curious why they would up the MAP price pre-release. Well, I know the reason.

yeah when i ordered mine traxxas site price showed $799. Amain price was still 749
i was wrong traxxas did raise the map to 779 (and dealer prices) but not on orders already placed orders still show map at 749

Most likely. That's how Traxxas rolled out the TRX-4. I got mine at an LHS before I could get one online.
