Proline Colorado ZR2 max wheel/tire size

I am planning on a Proline Colorado ZR2 build on my CSX-10II and want to put on a bigger tire/wheel combination. I am looking for suggestions on a great looking combination that isn't too big. Specific makes, models and pictures would be helpful too, Thanks.

I would think a class 1 tire would look great on there. Pro-line's photos seem to show the class 1 KM3.

I would go with a BFG all terrain (4.19) that would be pretty common to see in the 1:1 world.

The 1:1 truck does not have large tires for an off road vehicle, at only about 31" diameter, so from an appearance standpoint a smaller diameter tire would definitely look right at home.

Agree with the tiny tire suggestions. It’s right at home with a 4.19” tire. With slight trimming of the wheel wells a 4.3” tire but anything bigger just looks silly. I test fit some 4.75” Krawlers and it’s just dumb looking.

I agree, but running a tire that small would make the truck near useless unless your after a road runner.

I should have said probable for a 1:1 rather than common.

Well yeah, I'm not suggesting anyone try to exactly mimic the 1:1 tire size with their scale Colorado. Like you point out, that would not be very fun. But, based on looks, a class 1 sized tire would look good with the Proline Colorado body, IMO.

4-4.3” looks right at home on the body. I still get slight body rub when the shock is bottomed out nothing major

I bought a set of Pro-Line Hyrax Rock Terrain on Impulse Black/Silver wheels, trimmed the body and go t it located at a pretty good height for clearance.
