I’m in love! These scramblers without foam on these hbx rims is perfect for me. Love the look of these tires on those rims.

I found the scramblers and MTRs are so soft they need foam to keep the tires from folding over in a bind and side hilling.

The scramblers look pretty great. Bigworm, what is that bronco body? is that one of the RC4WD 1/18 broncos that just.. wasn't painted? That thing looks awesome.. would love to try to fit it onto the scx24...

Thank you very much Wolf. It was a nice change from the hard HBX monster wheels I had on it before.

Yes, thats a RC4WD blackjack I have fully customized. It was green and I painted it satin grey. I was going for gunship grey, but it came out looking primered in pictures...lol. In real life it shows its color much better.

I believe the wheel arches line up. But you will need to change the tires and spacing to achieve it. The stock tires and scramblers are WAY to tall for it. You really only want 50mm max tire on the RC4WD body or it looks funny IMO.

And I suspect you will need different shock or springs as the body will most certainly bottom the stock SUPER SUPER soft springs. This is a very light weight truck. Lightest one out of all my micros. But anything's possible with desire!

You'll see once you get your SCX24. "thumbsup"

RGT wheels have more offset and thicker hexes, so when used on the SCX24 the width is the same as RC4WD Mini Gelande Yota 2 axles. The SCX24's wheelbase is 3mm longer and would be easily shortened to the perfect WB. Pair these tires with CR-24 bead locks and some solder or copper wire for weight and you have a winning combination.

Balance charging the stock battery on my Imax B6 AC v2... what amp rate should I be using? I've never balance-charged or stored a battery this small.

Same rules for larger lipo.
Unless specifically stated I charge at a 1C rate or less. For
1500mah 1.5 amps
3000mah 3.0 amps
500mah. .5amp
350mah .35 but .3, .4, or even .5 if that's the lowest your charger will do works fine.

Yes thank you Spoo76. By far the most helpful and knowledgeable micro member.

I just got that charger so that helps me too!

Glad to help, but I wouldn't say I'm the most knowledgeable by any means lol.
I'm just the one here hitting reply haha

I have a feeling the included charger is a fair bit higher than .3 amps (not that it should be). I've noticed that my "good" charger (running at .3 amps) takes maybe 45 minutes while the included charger takes around 25 minutes though I didn't time it. They say it should take 2 hours to charge which makes me wonder if the charger is the wrong spec.

I use a venon pro duo at 0.3 amps and it takes way longer than the stock charger. I have no doubt it's charging st higher than 1C. I may use a USB tester to see what rate it's drawing.

The charger is 1 amp if I do recall. It says right on the bottom what the in and output is. Id check again but mine broke (usb jack pulled right out with the cable) right after the second use so I tossed it. I now charge with my imaxB6 at .4mah as it’s better in the long term to charge at 1c anyway.

Just wanted to post up some new pics. I'm running 8-hole rc4wd wheels and mtr's now. Bouncy/ tippy feeling has been greatly reduced. Still needs a lil more weight down low but the new tires/ wheels have been essential to increasing performance. No contact/ neg offset issues whatsoever. Steering servo will have to be addressed soon imo. I also got rid of the portion of the cage that goes over top of the lights. I like the look better without it.

Few pics of the action today... no breakage/ no lost parts/ 40+ minutes of run-time. Motor was barely warm to the touch. We left before either rig hit lvc.
