Organized Hobby room

Hey guys, I just moved into my new house and I'm looking for ideas on setting up my hobby room. Things like storing your rigs, work bench areas and just in general every area of the room that you have found makes life easier when working with several surface machines.
I'm thinking shelves to have rigs on with 2 benches and a solder grinding station. 1 bench is for long projects and the other would be for the everyday run and clean truck of the day.

Let me hear your thoughts and show me some pics of your man cave.

A 10' U shaped work bench came in very handy in my 8'x 16' man cave. Shelf's underneath allowed storage of all my stuff and planes on two walls finished off the room. I had a table top drill press next to a table top band saw on one side and a 10' x 2' section of empty table on the other,always cluttered, lol. The short section of table had my charging station and soldering station set up. A rolling bar stool/chair helped moving from side to side.

That's why I was thinking 2 benched to hopefully keep down on the clutter. lol Seems I can never stop the clutter with the one bench so in theory 2 would help.

The double benches really help, And peg board too. If you always have a place for your tools and always put them back where they belong....

I was thinking peg board for new extra parts. Right now I have 5 huge totes full of random misc parts for every rig, just a cluster of a mess..
Maybe some HF screw bins to help get small items in order.
I'm debating on either standing shelves or doing a shelf all the way around the room about 2' from ceiling to hold rigs, this would store them up and out of way..

I use shelf brackets to store my rids and buggies that I don’t drive very often. The others I have sitting on CI blocks.

I bought the Harbor Freight workbench to work on my rigs. It’s kinda hard to see, but it’s there!

Ive been wantin to get one of those myself bmow. Cant really beat the price, its just havin the money or just makin myself impulse buy it lol. Finally got a stool yesterday at a estate sale so i dont hsve to stand now

These work great for shelving. Dirt cheap and plenty of space. You can easily fit two 1/10 scale R/C's on each shelf, and extra shelves are available separately.

Home Depot sells these awesome Husky work benches.

They’re 72x24 and the height can be adjusted from a sitting position to a standing position (or anywhere in between with a simple turn of a crank.

I also use a Husky mechanic’s cart to story tools and parts in.

Both are on castors and easy to move or reconfigure.

My garage isn’t heated, so when it gets to cold to work out there, I set up in the extra bedroom.
