The SCX24 is more of a 1/20 size. Look at plastic models around that scale or 1/24 models with longer wheelbases. Gelande II 1/18 bodies fit as do many other micro rc bodies.Hey all, looking to pick up an Axial 1/24. Are there any aftermarket bodies that will fit this crawler without much modification?
Also any performance upgrades to make out of the box?
My daughter's 24 stopped moving. Seems like it has more resistance in the driveline than the other 24s in the house. Guessing motor. Seems like stock motor is sold out everywhere, any alternatives comparable to the stock motor?
That one doesn't look like an actual one from rc4wd. Probably a cloneLiterally one left. It's actually a drop in upgrade. They were out of stock at RC4WD...

So you are saying it is legit? Or knock off?
I will say, I did a little searching, and rc4wd has a direct link to china, as in their parts actually come from china. My wheels came from china, and the b9x actually says rc4wd china

I just used what I had on hand.It may have already been covered but I really can’t find it. What exact grease is everyone using in the stock shocks??
Needed to say that I installed the Micro-Gelande motor and it runs great. Soldered the red wire to the + and of course I needed to unsolder and reverse the wires. That is what I get for being logical. Didn't use the capacitor and don't see any radio interference. For a third the price of the Axial version it is a great motor.Literally one left. Also ShoeGoo'd the ESC between the rear rails after removing the battery plate. Cut the mount up and Goo'd the batter plate and strap up front. Daughter's rig so just playing around. Will likely get the Mod19 front end mods for hers eventually. Still has the crappy servo.
Was talking about that at the hobby shop. Nice to know it can be done. The RC4WD motor is a nice upgrade. But the barrage 050 long can WITH the small metal pinion OFF the RC4WD motor is even better!
You have to drill two new holes on the motor soft metal motor plate, swap the pinions and chop one leg off the battery tray. But it fits and works wonders.
