Same! Time to build

Edit* plastic balls in the kit. Heads up to snag some metal ahead of time. There are 16 of these plastic ones in the box.

I'm sure at some point someone will want to know if this kit will work on a Vanquish builders chassis.
Not a direct fit, but with a few changes it may. "thumbsup"

Will need to use 100mm shocks to get full travel.

And I need to see if a Sendero skid will fit to make the rear mount fit. "thumbsup"

I will work on it a little more tomorrow. ;-)

Hopefully you all have an Allen set on hand. There are two tiny screws, too small for a 1.5mm driver, that hold the hinge pins on. I don’t have anything small enough on hand so I’m going to dig up a slight bigger piece of hardware to use.

Probably 1.27 or 1.3mm, You can use 1.3 in 1.27 but they do sometimes get stuck.

Element Sendero 1/10. Crawler/Trailer.
Scx24 crc. Crawler 1/24.
Wltoys a212. Shortcourse 1/24.
Wltoys k969. Drifty 1/28

Some of us old farts have one in our toolbox, that is the size the set screws in pinions use to be. Mine is even a MIP "thumbsup"

Got it all done and am happy to have been able to get the SSD Brass Knuckles to work with the IFS set up "thumbsup"

That's disappointing, the pics all show metal balls. Thanks for the heads up!

So good news is it looks like these are just extras. Most of what’s used are different metal pieces that are included. Only used two plastic ones.

How did you put the balls inside of the knuckles? I'm thinking on sanding them down instead of opening the hole on the knuckles.

That’s what I did, and a bit of muscle but they eventually got in there. "thumbsup"

Anyone who’s wondering what we’re talking about, it’s these pieces here.

Yep, so adding a little bit of information, the piece of the balls that goes into the knuckles is bigger than the hole on the SSD knuckles.

So a little bit of sanding is needed, this is what I'm doing right now.
