Like the title says, what is the lightest 1.9" plastic beadlock wheel you know of, and HOW MUCH DOES IT WEIGH?
Does it weigh less than my stock scx10.3 wheels at 33.2g (1.17oz) each?
If so, I'd like to know about it!

I like the Element wheels because you can swap the hex adapters for aluminum for strength without having to modify them.

In addition to the Ocho in silver or black, they offer the Method 701 in bronze or black.

They offer brass hex adapters as well, but obviously you are looking for lighter weight.

And, they come with scale wheel nut covers!

(AND you can use scale hardware..."thumbsup")

Element Ocho's are 31.0g each (1.093oz)
Just out of curiosity, what kind of build are you going for? Some kind of Superlite? Id like to see it.

If you want super light, why beadlock? If there's hardware involved at all, it's going to add weight. The glue-on MST five spokes that come with many of their kits weigh 7g each. Quarter of an ounce.

Because rotating mass is bad. It’s not ultralight, at 4.7lbs. But I don’t want it much heavier.
Yes, I’m still considering gluing tires instead of beadlocks.

Yeah, to a certian degree. Metal wheels arent gonna hurt anything though, I personally wouldnt get hung up on that. Id be more worried about excess weight above the wheels. (Like the rollcage in the 10.3 body, heck even the whole body if you havent already.)

Just my opinion though[emoji1688]

Just a little anecdote, I selected some light weight delrin wheels for a comp build and recently swapped on some SSD stamped steel wheels to try out the tires on them. The specific tire combo I had made the delrin and steel wheels the exact same weight which was a little shocking though I've always known the stamped steels wheels were fairly light (because they're thin). Then I swapped tires and they dropped from 5.1oz to 4.9oz.
Jconcepts Landmines are .2 oz lighter (each) than Proline Krawler T/A's... I believe

Anyway some wheels you think might be heavy or light may or may not be and tires are also a big consideration for weight savings.

So I never weighed my rims cuz I didn’t think about it but they were cut 10.3 rims, I cut every second spoke and every second beadlock mount shaved and narrowed foams and shaved and cut landmines but I’m not help cuz of weight but I know the rims were under 33g lol
