Yeah, this was all over myspace. We did this, and got it rammed in da butt harder. Prices ROSE 30 cents a gallon that night. I'm just glad I bought my truck when I did. Fuel has went down some. Thank god.

Yeah, that worked really well I saw a ton of people filling up on the 15! Like everyone else us in the Chicago land area are getting phucked bad! I go about 10 miles out of town to find the cheapest gas at 3.33 a gallon. With my Cherokee getting anywhere from 15-22 mpg (depending on my right foot) the prices are killing me. I guess I am lucky compaired to the guys driving the BIG suvs. I just hope there is something in the near future that will lower prices!

Wow... You guys have CHEAP gas prices!! Up here in BC, we only WISH it was that cheap again... You're equivalent to 86.6 cents a liter at 3.29/gallon... We're paying 1.26.4 a liter.. Just shy of 4.90/gallon... It's been over 1.30 a liter, too... Just shy of $5/gallon...

Think YOU got it rough down there? Try running a 4.3l Pathfinder on those prices... Your prices down there, I could drive ALL the time for that kinda price... We haven't seen under a buck a liter in a VERY long time here... The last time we had prices comparable to what you pay NOW was, oh, about 2 years ago or so now...

Thank you NAFTA... We don't import ANY crude here.. We export.. We can supply ourselves... But, 'cos of NAFTA, we can not sell to ourselves less than we sell to you guys..

I understand you pain at the pump. But please fill us in on your hourly wage rate. Our cost per gallon as to the hourly minimum wage is worse than yours even at those prices. I think???????:?:

man whats stupis is that i live in utah where thet have refineries that make gas so why is it so expensive when we(utah) have refineries? its already in the 3.20-30's:shock:

$3.20 for 87 here. i drive between 100-200 miles everyday to work and back. different job sites all the time.little 95 S-10 gets about 18mpg or so.

Do any of u know, make a good guess on what a 04tj 4.0l auto with 4.5lift and 33's woud get mpg wise?

I think you're a little confused here, GWB?
GWB had nothing to do with NAFTA. NAFTA came into affect in the early 90's.
GWB wasn't president in the early 90's.
NAFTA was actually initially pursued by prime minister Brian Mulroney, George H W Bush, and Carlo Salinas de Gortari.
It was ratified by Bill Clinton in 1993.

Not even that,24hrs without fuel purchases would kill oil companies in the ball park of $100-200 million....In one day.

In the 70`s I worked at all the oil refinery in Northern California, one of my jobs was to cover all the fuel tanks that had floating top. just so the news helicopter could not see how full they were. Some of you will remenber the odd & even days.

I just filled up my class c motor home , crew cab dually and 1/2 ton p/u at the lowest price gas station in the next town over from me and paid $ 375.00. If I filled up at the gas station in town I would have paid over $ 400.00+. Damm gas is almost $4.00 a gallon

The only problem with not buying for a day, week, or so on the companies will have to raise prices to make up for lost revenue, guess what happens then?

Prices go way up just to make sure that they make up for what they lost on those days, and stay up just to ensure a good ****ing for everyone, most people have to refuel at some point.

I'm dead ****ing serious too, I'm buying a bike so I can ride to work. I feel bad for those of you that have to drive 100 miles round trip.

I don't think that its Bush, although he isn't my favorite person, the **** sticks that work for the oil companies consider him a peon. He is just a figure head anyway. yeah he passes laws, taxes and crap, but he only sees them if congress passes them up.

All in all, to hell with oil, I'm on with the hydrogen car now.

ya i got your point, and i do believe in gettin a biodiesel rig. but it took me 3 years to make my dream truck and now boom up go gas prices. so im F'ed for awile till i can get more money rollin around to go buy a car or somethin.

gas spiked here today at $3.65 a gallon and the wife said in the last 3 months we have ADDED $250 to our monthly bills for gas............thats NOT counting what she has already budgeted for..

and we are in small town Ohio with a refinerary(sp) less that 20 min away............Whats is gonna take for the american people to see that they are being screwed over by their OWN government........Bush has a "special" interest in oil prices...........and look where they are now!!!

The bad thing is is that you are paying MORE for gas and fuel thats already in the tanks...........it should not go up any more its there not trucked in that day...........its all BULLSH!T!!!!

I paid $3.49 for regular (glad my Jeep is cheap to keep fed), ended up being $53 for 15 gallons of gas:shock: This was the cheap stuff too, I passed a station or two today that were already at $3.65 for regular!

Its $3.15 for reg. in central Tx. and as for Bushes interest in oil prices the reason is he owns Halliburton one of the largest oil field service companys n the world and he and pops bought a drilling company bout 2 years ago (not that it can be proved since its not legal for him to do but thats the rumar in the oil field). My equiptment runs off diesel and cost me $685 to fill the unit and the truck (5 ton) and it gets 5 mpg and we drive 1 ton crew cab long bed pickups as work trucks and mine gets 12 mpg gas rig there are 2 of us in this company and we spent $2000 in a slow month in fuel that hurts

Not that I believe that they are actually paying more for fuel, but if they were, they have to raise the prices on their current inventory to be able to afford buying the new stuff at raised prices. I too think the american people are getting screwed, with no one doing anything about it in Washington.

The government doesn't control prices on anything in a free market. And it would be a terrible thing if they did. When governments control prices in a free market, thats called Socialism. (maybe some of you need to look that up in a dictionary?) Have none of you heard the laws of supply and demand? It's summer, people in Northern climates aren't sitting home because its cold out. They're towing their boats, (1 in every 8 persons owns a boat in MN alone. MN has a 4 mil pop, you do the math) ATV's etc North to their cabins, filling trucks to tow them, atv tanks, boat tanks, mower tanks, etc. Add to that China's growing thirst for fuel, they are projected to use more fuel then the USA within 20 years. Thats all the more people of the world competing for a commodity known as Oil.
As for Bush owning Haliburton, LMAO, those that believe that probably believe Bush was behind the towers coming down on 911 (yet another stupid conspiracy theory) Haliburton has been around 1 he!! of a lot longer then Bush. Haliburton supplied our troops for WW2, The Korean war, and Nam. They are One of a very few companys that do that kind of contracting. Not to mention, the Bush's don't have near enough wealth to buy a company like Haliburton.
If Bush is behind the high oil prices for "profit for himself" ? Why wouldn't we have been paying these prices long ago? This is the 7th year of his presidency isn't it? Logically, he should have had the prices jump 6-7 years ago for even more " profit for himself?
I think some people have such blind hatered for Bush, that if they tripped over their own shoelace, they blame it on Bush.
I'm not fond of the higher gas prices either, but compared to most countrys petrol prices around the world, we have had it good.
We truely are a rich, spoiled country, when the poverty level in America includes people who have cell phones and new/newer cars.
Not to sound like a dick, but if some of your budgets are stretched that tight because of fuel prices. This may not be a good hobby for you? Knitting or candle making can be done right at home on the cheap ;-)

We've been paying the stupid high prices for just about 2 years now... We haven't had prices like you have NOW, and are complaining about, in a fair few years.. At least on THIS side of the country.. The lost province we seem to be out west...

Cheney is tied to Hilburton not Bush. The Government regulates the trade of crude oil though.

The thing that chaps my hyde is that they jack the prices up to $4 a gallon from $2.39 and then when it goes back down to $3.49 everyone is "happy". The days of $1.89 gas are way gone. Just like how it seems every car dealer seems to think it is acceptable to have a $750 car payment. F' that!!! I have no bills other than mortgage and utillites and I don't know how some of you high balance bill people make it.

It really doesn't matter what the gas prices go up to.I wouldn't be suprised years for now prices reaching $5-$6 a gallon and Americans bitching but still putting a full tank in their new vehicle.I guess its better than paying for it in liters..........
