I just saw one of the factory lifted ones today with some 33-35's. Looked pretty nice, but I still don't like the stock fenders. What size tires are you planning on running?

those new JK's are so damn fugly.

they look like every other jeep that's ever been made to me. I keep hearing idoits saying that the TJ is good looking. The same guys who said they were ugly when they first came out.
Every Jeep looks about the same to me....just slight variations in the grill and fenders.

sorry I bent your feeler, but the new Jeep has a 7 slot grill and that is all what is left from a tradition Jeep.

from the back it looks like a Scion bread box van thingy, and from the side it looks like a H3 with out the bulging fenders.

From the front it looks like a wide Liberty, just my opinion and others who are true to the Jeeps of the past, excluding the other fawk up, the YJ.
and the sheet metal on my 94 Hyundai Excel commuter is thicker too.

If your happy, that is what counts, I just will never own one.

don't mind me, I am just a little pissed today at my newly bought and burned up 995TG.

certainly is a matter of opinion. I've owned CJ's, YJ's TJ's and a '48 2A and I think this JK is the best looking of the bunch. It is the most capable as well. I'll bet your girl is super hot but she can't suck dick and is a dead fuk.  All about looks huh?

all about looks?? look who is talking, king of the perdy crawlers that can't git r done.

I kicked that bitch to the curb , and she was fun in bed, but that is were it ended, as usual with the hot ones. ;-)

out of the box a Jeep, since the Rubi, has always performed better than most box stock.

after you modify a rig, then the performance is measure buy driver and how deep you pockets are. ;-)

I have had my share of Jeeps too, been wheeling since 1985. I am not
exactly a kid. ;-)

now you can go back to polishing that turd.

dirk, nice JK!

any plans for an axle swap? or do the JK's already come with DANA's???

The Rubicon comes with locked Dana 44's front and rear.
As a matter of fact, I spoke with the guys at Dynatrac last week about putting in a Dana 60 pretty soon.

hell theres no need there locked and are dana 44s...hey dirkypoo do they still use the dana 30 outers?

Nope. I guess this year they went to the "Next Generation Dana 44" and finally made them more stout. That's what I hear but they don't look much different.
Maybe Mr. DUDE The Super Jeep Guy can answer this question, as he has been wheelin Jeeps since 1985 and knows all about Jeep tradition.
