Anyone Watch The "Ghost Hunters" Marathon Yesterday?

I have watched a few episodes of Ghost Hunters in the past, and they were so-so.

Then the rain came yesterday just as I was going to get into cutting the grass and cleaning up the yard. So, time to sit on a$$ and enjoy my Sunday. And boom, a whole day of Ghost Hunters is on, and I get hooked.

Most of what I saw was interesting, but nothing overwhelming.................then the St Augustine lighthouse episode came on!!!! WOW!!! I don't believe in ghosts or spirits or angels or God, or anything outside of "you are born, you live, you die." But man, that show threw me for a HUGE twist!

The other episode with the "thermal cam" and the "sensitive" was also very intruiging.

So who else watched it?

And if you have never watched it, check out your listings and look for it. You may watch 10+ hours of it before you see something that peaks your interest, but it is worth it!!! :)

if you got to the T.A.P.S. web site there is a WAAAAAY creepy video they got at eastern state pen in philly, it looks like a man in a cloak running up to the cam, and then running back..... it's truely something that you have to see for yourself to make your descision, but, i do like this show (at least the ones i've seen...) and think it's good, except for that dang whiney kind that always has some kind of excuse for why something doesn't work, or why something was forgotten, and what not.

Yep, I watched the "shadow" vid from Penn State Pen earlier this evening, and it was definately a little creepy.

The footage from St Augustine is MUCH better though!!! It is footage of another "shadow," but is much more defined. I searched around on the net a little while ago seeing if it was hosted somewhere, but I couldn't find it. I have it all Tivo'd, but my dam DirecTV Tivo won't let me download anything. I will look and see if it is "limewired." ;-)

Yep, that was their one vid that had me pondering before watching the marathon. I believe that that clip was also filmed in a lighthouse, in the "house" portion of the lighthouse, if I am not mistaken. There was a camera set up in the attic, and clearly showed all humans leaving the space...................then a few seconds later, the chair moved on its own. That is my second best clip!!!

edit: there is a short version of that vid on TAPS' website: http://www.the-atlantic-paranormal-society.com/video/racerock.wmv

I was sick today, and came home from work at about 10am or so..................and then watched another Ghost Hunters marathon from about 10:30am - 6:30pm.

Just a bump because the new season starts at 9 on Spike!!!!:)

Anyone happen to catch "Destination Truth" after Ghost Hunters tonight?

The show is kinda like Ghost Hunters, but involves a team searching out stuff like modern day dinosaurs and "Lockness" type monsters..............but they do dive into "hauntings" every now and then.

Kinda cool finding on tonight's episode. I will recap it backwards sorta for impact.

Imagine a Tai translator in Los Angeles asked to listen to a short audio recording in which it has been determined sounds like a voice. After listening (and presumably unaware of how/where the recording took place), the translator guesses that the "voice" says (in Tai): "Get out of here. Everyone get out of here."

Here is the kicker. The audio was recorded with a super sensitive microphone, placed inside an ancient crematorium in the middle of a Tai cemetery, in the middle of BFE Taiwan. Sound levels were taken prior to placing the mic, to show that no sound outside of the chamber would register, and the area around the crematorium remained silent during the recording.

I still remain a skeptic, but some of this stuff truly is fascinating!!!

Maybe Dad will post up the stuff that happened at one of our old houses when I was a kid...all kinds of freaky stuff.

When I was 3 I was heading outside to ride my tricycle. We had a big wood door and a screen door on the house. I opened the wood door and between it and screen door was a snake. There was NO WAY for it to get there...no cracks, etc...

Same house...when we moved in. One painting left in the living room over the fireplace of a woman. Took it down...image of woman was on the wall (that's right...of the woman, not faded paint from the frame). Painted the walls...could still see it. Eventually hung a new picture there.

Lights:

Had several issues of lights doing their own thing. We'd leave the house and the front porch light would be off. Come back and the damn thing would be on. This happened all the time.

One night I was asleep (my room was upstairs at the time, on the left) and the light in the hall, at the top of the steps, came on. It was shining through the doorway to my room on my face...woke me up. I yelled downstairs to Mom and Dad asking why they turned the lights on. Apparently I woke them up yelling...Mom said that they didn't, that I had done it. While we were standing there debating who turned the light on it blew. Not blew as in went out...blew as in shattering glass.

Crazy stuff.

There was an old barn next to the house that I never liked going in.
