2007-2008 Colorado Winter Series Info

You bet.
We only ask that you heckle Turtle, Tim, and Bender all day.

Jason and I changed the rules a little for this series. Anyone that heckles me gets an automatic DNF for all courses at that particular comp. :flipoff:

I think we should offer a heckler of the day award at each event to make things fun!

We also need to assign people on each course to ring the progress bell.

Sounds good. Ty will probably man the "triangle of progress."

Put me on the list J. Now if I can figure out how to pry some money out of my empty wallet I'll be set!

Heh, I only saw him miss one progress and that was because the "light tech" blinded him with the fawkin lantern!

I think that was one of the best comps ever that I've attended, right up there with Nationals. Finishing in the pitch black of night with a lantern and cowbell was Awesome.

Best finish ever.

Depends on which side for that day, but it will be over by the red rocks elementary school which is in Morrison.
Fromm the way I read it, you can run each event and not pay the $20, but just the $5 per class. You will not get official points for it, but you can still run and place in the event (Jason please correct me if I am wrong on this).

You are correct. If you pay the $20 series fee we will track your series scores all winter and you will be eligible to win the series trophy at the last event. You will also be eligible to earn a spot for Nationals. Paying the series fee also puts your name on the sign up sheet at each event first, and any remaining spots will go to those not in the series.

Paying the $5.00 entry fee at each event will allow you to run each event. It will also make you eligible to win the money at the end of that particular event.

Paying $0.00 will allow you to stand in the crowd and watch everyone else.;-)

The $20 series fee is totally optional, just remember if you want to have your series scores tracked and be eligible for the other things that come along with that your series fee must be paid in full by the START of the second event.
