I'll have to admit that i am pretty spoiled but i do work for most of the stuff that i own,my parents say if i dont have the money to buy it then i dont need it. I payed half of the cost of the truck the other half that my parents payed is my 16th b-day present and also my grad present.

But sorry shaun about the hi jack. Here are a few thing that i would reccomend looking over or upgrading. Not in any specific order.

1) Brakes, even if you dont upgrade them atleas pull the wheels off and check the pads on them the last thing you want is your brakes failing going down the road.

2)Do the carfax thing see if it has been in any accidents if it has check out the areas of the car that been hit or damaged before make sure everything is sound and that all of the main structures of the car are in good working order.

3)do a little tune up, new plugs, airfilter, fuel filter, oil, and oil filter. Get her purring.

4)Maybe after you get some more money start looking at "bolt on" preformance like exhaust systems COI's ignition systems etc. Or if you just want to do a total motor over haul look into crate motors. But if your serious about making it fast and powerful go through the driveline and redo everything.

5)Have fun, You have about 2 years till you can really start driving so make a fun project out of it."thumbsup"

24 inch rims!!!!!

exterior and interior(except B&M mega shift and shift light) will be stock.

for the motor I have some things planned, in no particular order heres the engine.

Electric fan kit
Headers(found some used flowtechs for $50)
1.52 ratio full rocker rollers
Tall valve covers
Moroso HEI Ignition kit
Holley street dominator intake manifold

Thats about it for the motor till it gets rebuilt or replaced in a year or so.

Brakes are good! If they go out, you may end up taking out a vehicle worth 12x your own.:shock:

Yes, a tune up is coming first.

Plugs
Filters
fluids
Check brakes, replace if needed.
Remove tint
Fix console door

Get ready for some pics.

I didnt notice how many miles on it? I've got an 85 monte also, 305 80k original miles, it was my gpas but he had it stored for about 6 years due to health reasons, hopefully it will be my "Hot Rod" soon.

Wow play by play engine overhaul, great job!"thumbsup"

Edit: no overhaul just new parts, sorry.

If you haven't change your fluids yet, I know royal purple is reallt good I think its suppose to give you a couple horse power and a little better gas mileage.
