Link-N-Rocks by RCP Tracks (Artificial Rocks for the Rock Crawling Industry)

Can't spill any details right now, but I can tell you there already is at least one micro crawler in the works.

wahoooo! you just made my day! that is so good to hear! woohoo! any idea AT ALL on a release time? what scale? 1/24? :lol:

A few of us Nor-Cal guys went down to RCX last year and I have to say, crawling on the course was awesome! I was surprised at how durable the rock surface was and how technical some of the lines were. John, I think you have a hit on your hands!"thumbsup" Can't wait till this year's RCX!!

This is outstanding! Great work."thumbsup" I want enough to fill up a room in my house or a garrage. Keep us informed b/c I'll definitely be interested in buying some. I want the one in the first pics.:)

I would bet that Kyosho is working on a mini crawler...they have the mini z monster...why not just rework the axles??????

other than picture 2 and 3 ,the course looked too easy. like a touring car could navigate them. but as the molds probly arent done yet, thats not a problem, you can make whatever you want :D

1, 2 & 3 have plenty of lines that are of high difficulty. These rocks are currently being used at the RCP Crawlers Friday night crawls. 5 was made for 1/24 2wd scale. 4 was made for the general public to crawl at the Daytona 500 race at the Goodyear booth. We didn't want to make it too difficult, just wanted the public to get a feel of RC crawling. The Goodyear booth had the second largest draw of all the booths participating outside the Daytona 500 Nascar race. That includes the Home Depot and Budweiser booth.

A few more. Also check out the latest RC Car Action magazine, as RCX is advertising the upcoming event and have a picture of the Hustler running on the rock course.

Quick update;

Mold process is under way. First step is making prototype rocks, so the molds can be made from them. I should have the first run of prototype rocks ready for testing in a few weeks. I will have team RCP do some testing on the prototypes and make any necessary changes, before the molds are made.

Once the molds are made, production of the rocks will go very quick. I will keep you updated on the progress of the prototypes and provide pics as soon as they're available.

These would be AWESOME for the EJS (Moab easter Jeep Safari) Safari Expo on the 20-21 of March!"thumbsup" during safari, really get the hobby out there!!!"thumbsup"

I really like the layout in the first pic with the beige/brown color!!! 8)"thumbsup" All very nice lookin products!

If the full size rocks are successful we have plans to offer a mini-version. The mini-version would be more suited for home use and in areas of limited space such as the office. They will also work out well when the RC micro crawler is released.;-)

Now that should be hot! :-P
