Hi everyone.
Well, after of few weeks of looking for realistic-looking 1/5 rc monster truck, because of the unsuccessful search i decided to do it by myself .I've always loved monster trucks, but those commercially available have independent suspension, they ar too small for me (mad force, summit, savage),and just look more like tryggys with truck cab.
So far my only adventure with rc,was a Tamiya TXT-1.
I bought it because it's looks like a real MT.
After just few weeks i sold this one, because it was already too small.
Since I have some free time write now, I decided to start the construction.
I have already almost all the parts.
Everything was made and assembled, but is in the parts again, because i want to paint everything in satin black.
Schort specyfication:
-MF extended axles: 37cm from hex to hex (40cm total width). 22mm hex's
-Savage 4.6 bevel gears. fit's perfectly and they have drilled holes.
-Savage tranny.Full metal gears, converted to a single gear.
-Traxxas summit axles shafts, cut and extended.
-Red Cat rampage MT wheels. I like them ;-)
-Maxstone 1/5 links, and some frame parts.
-Turnigy trackstar 1900KV motor
-Turnigy 150A ESC.
-Hitec servo (just for the test's of steering, and servo mount).
-RC4WD rod end's.,and some aluminium links.
-Kyosho mad force motor mount plate.
-Probably its will run on LiPo 4S 6000Mah
-Dimensions : WB 61cm, W 53cm, L 84cm, Weight 11-12KG.

Currently im waiting for the shock's (8 x savage big bore ones),lexan body- redcat rampage mt,and bigger servo (aboute 25kg).
The body will be painted for sure ,but have't decided on what color.
When i was put all togheter at firs time,i have to said - i was very satisfied:)
Everything was performed by very simple tools, since i don't have access to specialized ones.

After few weeks of waiting for the rest of the parts,i was finnaly able to put everythin all together.
These wheels look small in this project, but they are 8 inches tall:twisted:
Will se how the extended MF axles will handle this truck.
Possibly i will mount later some Demolished Tires,or interco super swamper's.
Now I am waiting only for Rampage body, and FlySky 2.4 gHz control system.
Few more days and im doing the test drive :)

Very cool, looks like a fun truck! "thumbsup"

Thx.
Write now its sitting on low option. I did not want to create something, whats maximally high just for the bigger look.
Possibly i will rise the chassis litle bit later one,but not to much.
Before i start this construction, i was analyzed the look of real MT.
They don't sitting very high, so my one is similar ;-)
The lower link's are almost in a horizontal position.
If i will decides to change the wheels for interco super swampers (10' tall) , then i will rise it, and its will look more like a mud truck. At this moment, I am satisfied from the results

Well, after a another few weeks i was able to put everything all toghetera and make a firs test drive. Its still running on 4S,but its will be increased for 6S quite soon.
Huge 35KG servo was landed inside, helical's steinles difs and few other small upgrades was done.
Body is allmoust done (is extended by 11cm compering to standart Rampage body ), and its waiting for painting.
Looks very nice for me.
