1/8 scale rock crawler

Looking for decent super scale crawler. What's a good model to purchase . 400 price range

I found a lot of 1/8 scale for $250-350, so you're in the clear for that. They are comp crawlers though

I'd like to have one with metal gears and and a stout axle other than that it seems I would be able to upgrade the rest later.

look at the integy i rock 8th scale. that one has U.S parts support. every hobby shop can get integy parts.

I think a set of super bully axles and whatever chassis you want is your best if not only real choice at your price point. Don't buy anything Integy and I wouldn't suggest the redcat or other chinese stuff if your looking for strength.
