Does anyone know where I can find a "How To" to put together the 1.9 Hitman Beadlocks? It's a 5 peice design that has me scratching my head. I'm going to be mounting a set of Rock Crusher II X/T 1.9 Tires. Yes I'm new to this and asking for help.

They can be a bit tricky to put together. What I do is cut a piece of a servo strong horn or find something small enough to cover hole where the axle shaft goes thru. Then get yourself a bolt and a nut. Take the piece of servo horn and put the bolt thru it and thru the front of the wheel. Make sure the bolt comes out just a hair past the inside hub, then get the bolt on and tighten down as far as you can...but make sure the holes in the rings line up with the holes in the wheels. At this point you can go ahead and get a few of the beadlock bolts started. Keep in mind you have to do this with the tire on and the wheel put together of course and pay attention to the tire beads inside the wheel to make sure they don't slip out on you. I used an empty can of chew (bad habit) to set the wheels on while getting the tire on. It could take some time to get it or not if your lucky to get it the first four times. Good luck:thumbup:

You only need to remove the rear ring and insert the internal ring into the tire and then re-assemble. You do not need to remove the front ring.

I just got mine and did exactly what Katan said. But make sure all the hardware on the the front ring and for the hub are tight. There's a lot of money In hardware to replace if you lose any.

Thanks guys for the tips. I did manage to get two mounted in between getting a hardwood floor completed this weekend... yeah me!! Those things are tricky to get tucked in and seated properly. But the end result is they look great.

Yeah what katan said. I apologize for my wrong advice as I was thinking of the steelies for some reason:rolleyes:.
I do have the Hitmans but I musta forgot or something:confused:

I didn't check the hardware and a wheel fell off after 20 minutes of hill climbing and bashing... locktight will help with that after the replacement bolts arrive.... DOH!!!
