I tried several times to mount My ProLine TSL Xl's with C.I. Double Deuce Single Stage Foams

To the Hutchinson Bead Locks

Using the stock inner rings

And just couldn't get the rim squeezed together enough

To get the screws started evenly with out stripping

I then took the RC4WD inner rings from a set of steel wagon wheel Bead locks

They have a groove machined into them that bead of that the bead of TSL fits

Into and I could squeeze them together enough to start the screws evenly

And they beaded up really easy once I changed out the inner rings

They look pretty good on my Honcho Truggy

The Previous owner used the stock inner rings with Goodyear TA's and Falken Wild Peaks

I checked out his builds too see the rims mounted up before I bought them

Not the first time I've heard about prolines being hard to mount. If they weren't such a great tire I'd kick em to the curb! I like them a lot with the CI single stage foams. But I have mine on PL wheels so there's no problem with the bead.

Those TSS wheels look great! Congrats on the life hack you found to get the PL's on a good wheel.

scalewise those are most like the jeep hutchinson wheel they came out with from the factory when the JK jeep wrangler introduced.

I've been looking for a scale wheel after the hutchinson rock monster...closest I found was the Gear Heads vegas in argent color. ordered them from rpp....pricey but looking forward to it.

looks great! yeah we warn about the PL bead on our website. great to hear you found a work around!

looks great on your rig! enjoy"thumbsup"

My RC4WD Wagon wheels had the raw aluminum inner rings

I see on RC4WD they sell the inner rings and they are anodized blue

And they sell 4 of the blue ones for $11.99 but they are out of stock, and have a waiting list

I did not want to wait and no telling how long they will be out of stock

So I used the inner rings I had

I had used the wagon wheels at first and mounted the TSL's on them

That's when I seen they had the groove cut into in the inner rings

Cause I also have a set of 1.9'' RC4WD Pro10 Steel Wheels with normal inner rings / no groove cut in them, that I mounted a set of 1.9'' PitBull Rock Beasts on with no problems

I tried, I could not after multiple times get the TSL's to mount to either set of wheels using the normal inner rings to save my ass

Use the inner rings with the grooves they mount easy and the bead stays locked in place
