100 sled dogs slaughtered in whistler b.c.

Don't people in BC know about snow mobiles?
.
um ya we have plenty of snowmobiles:roll:..they were not brought there for transportation..they were for peoples entertainment, you know like going on a horse drawn sled as an example

I had not heard about this until now, and I wish I hadn't at all.

Who ever made the decision to do such a thing deserves a special place in hell.

I honestly believe it's even worse than killing people.. Dogs? Come on.. They are totally friggin' loyal and loving and give their all unconditionally to please us (humans) and this is how they are rewarded?

Are they "Snowmobiles" or "Snowmasheens" up there?

I always thought riding a snowmobile is a much better experience than staring at and being down wind of the taints of several animals.

i think mostly refered to around here as snowmobiles, ya they are fun and really quick
as for sledding different strokes for different folks i guess, probably a once in a lifetime chance to do something like that..not something i wanted to do though
as for bob fawcett, the reason this whole thing was uncovered was he made a claim for ptss sometime after killing the dogs..the guys is in his own hell for sure and deservingly so..i feel for his family, not for him at all..i cant even imagine..
i do have pets myself and love them..they are my buddies

Hasn't BC tightened up their animal cruelty laws as a result of this case? Just looking for some silver lining. Pretty sad result, guy should have received a jail term and ban on owning any pets. BS excuse that he was distraught and forced to kill those dogs.

yes they tightened up the laws..to what end i dont know, this isnt right ..the judge could of done something with the laws that exsisted but chose not to:roll:..no point in tightening up a law if the law isnt used anyway..sad
