No words, just pics. So many questions I have.
If you have any questions just let me know and I can see if I can answer them.

Thanks Scott! I had to think outside of the box for that front suspension lots of sleepless nights thinking of how to do it.

Did a few more modification on the rumble seat, and made the front & rear bumper, finally installed the front headlights. Also did some more body work before the paint shop. Next is to paint and make door handles and a few more details.

The lines are just awesome. Outdid yourself here Sean. I can see candy apple red on this, period correct color on an awesome creation.

Awesome build, I think it has enough flex for a C1..... lol. Everything is a crawler if you are brave enough, lol...

So bad ass !
Thank! Wait til it's done

Hey Scott I'm going to the paint shop soon to see what kind of paint color they have.
Nice job on the rumble seat lid, are you going to put an actual seat in there?
It needs a "California Kid" paint job!
Hey Mike I think I'll leave the fuel cell and the nitrous bottle.
She's beautiful, Sean. I'm with Scott on the 'apple-red.:) Are you gonna "suicide" the doors? Great work again!
Thanks! I'm going to look for the paint soon and I'm putting handles on the doors.

Thanks! I think it will be an on road build.

I meant suicide style doors, handle to the front, hinged at the back. It was a common customize for cars from that era. My dad and my uncle had an old 40's coupe that they did back in the late 50's, I remember old pic's of it.

I think I'm going to leave the doors the original way. Do you have any pictures of your dad's coupe? If you do I would like to see them.

Sorry, most of the old pic's (and dad) were lost when a tornado wiped out mom & dads place in '09. Kind of funny tho', dad's Revo truck was one of the few things that survived and cleaning and restoring it got my interest in RC's rekindled again. And I've had the hook in my lip since. :)

I hope your parents were OK, I couldn't image losing everything to a tornado that must of really sucked. At lease something positive came out of that.

Thanks, mom got tossed across the yard and landed with just a few scrapes and bruises. It was really a mess.
I moved to my current house when it happened, so I could help mom rebuild her house, and it's turned out to be a good place for me. Woods, trails, rocks and a decent pond give me more places to play (hunt & fish too). And it's given me a chance, as an adult, to get to know my mom even better, so it didn't take everything. :)

I can image how this would be a life changing event always remember "a negative brings a positive". I'm glad that everything turned out well in the end.
