2.2 Super Swamper TSL/SX . . . Am I the first ?

awsome

i just got the swampers put on my venom there great i pulled some lines that i never did befor i have ground clearance now awsome any one need some flat irons

hmm.. well i was going to run the boggers in 2.2 but it seems that i cant find any locally, but the local hobby shop has TSL's in 2.2 so i might have to pick me up a set hopefully tomorrow not sure yet, thats if my aunt goes into town.

they look like a nice tire and work well.the only thing that worries me is how much the tires will squish for the amount of metal im going to toss on the rig.

Has any one compaired these 2.2 TSL/SX's to the Pitbull Rockbeasts by chance??
A friend of mine and I will be doing just that soon. He got the pit bulls and I got the sx's so as soon as his car is finished we will do a direct comparison. After we do I'll post results for sure!

heard my hobby shop has these in stock so i am heading there tomorrow to buy me a set, might have to order some rims though.. not sure on rim choice just yet... its either the stock 8-hole rims or the rockstar rims. might just go with the 8-hole and run them for a while, if i got bored of them i can buy the rockstars.

you could always put them on Eritex pob1's

been too busy playing Grand Threft Auto 4 to take pictures!:lmao: decided im going with the factory 8-hole wheels for now at least.. i will run them for a while and once the build is done maybe i will pick up the rockstars to narrow the track width a little bit.

So how do they work? I ordered a set today for my new XR10 build. I like the fact that they are so realistic. I just hope they work as good as they look.

I've got a set of the 2.2 swampers on my ax10 and I love em' ... I run then with foams on the rock and no foams in the sand. Crawls all over place in the dunes even with a 55t and they hook up amazing on the rocks and in the dirt/mud!

i mounted mine on a set of 2.2 rockster wheels and they are awesome!!!!! cant believe i waited so long ordering these!!!! they arent as soft as i thought for a stock rig, but they do sure grab the rocks nice.

hey...I love this tires, too.
but, what foam are u guys have for this tires?
I still running stock one, but not sure if there are some other better options out there.

In my experience, it varies greatly with the weight of the rig. My rig (10-11 lbs) laughed at the stock foams. It really lacked any sidewall reinforcement and would fold over too easily. I installed some Crawler Innovations two stage foams and it was vastly improved! :)
