Does anybody make a set or 2.8 beadlock wheels? I am looking for some 2.8 wheels for 2 different sets of Proline tires. This is for my SCX10 with the 12mm axle hub. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Greg

I haven't looked yet but plan to look. I picked up an Exo Terra and want to try some bigger wheels and shorter tires. You'll need 17mm hexes.

The Exceed Mad Torque uses 2.8" beadlocks, but it has 17mm hexes. $22 will get you 4 wheels, hardware, and 8 rings in your choice of colors. I'd think you could just switch to a 17mm hex off a monster truck? Years ago I bought a set of 17mm hexes from Hot Bodies and put them directly in place of both 14mm and 12mm hexes. Might be worth looking into anyway.

I think I just had a mini heart attack! For 4 wheels, beadlock rings, hubs & caps the grand total is...

$144

Sorry that's out of my price range.

They're work looks great, and ide love to have a set. Actually looking for 2 sets of beadlock wheels. I just can't see myself spending that much on a set of wheels for my SCX10.

Quality aluminum beadlocks aren't cheap.

What tires are you looking at for your SCX10 that are 2.8? Any reason not to go 2.2?

XTM had 2.8 Beadlocks... Loved them... They were 14mm hex. I ran them on a clod I recently sold.

I purchased the Pro-Line Sand Paw 2.2 on my Jeep for the sand dunes and mounted them on Axial 8 hole 2.2 beadlock wheels. They worked good in the sand, they just weren't tall or wide enough. Then I found the tires in 2.8, taller and wider! Perfect for my Jeep. They sell them pre mounted & glued to 2.8 rims. I just prefer beadlock wheels as opposed to glued. I can buy them pre mounted for $37 for a set.

I would be ok with plastic 2.8 beadlock wheels, just can't find any.

Here's some links:

12mm to 17mm adapters $4 (not exactly what I was referring to, but these would get the job done) : 4pcs Aluminum Wheel Rim Adapter For 1:10 RC Nitro Car 12mm to 17mm Hex Gray | eBay

I thought Proline had 2.8" beadlocks at one point, but I can't find them so I must have had a false memory.

Also interested in the results of this endeavour. Would be cool to put Beadlocks on my Stampedes for S&G.
Was kinda thinking the same thing. For some completely irrational reason, I've been wanting to build a Telluride/Chimera B type vehicle, and some 2.8 beadlocks would be a nice thing to use.
