2 new proline bodies

I like the C-10.

Just got my Rockstar on with wheels and tires.

You also have to consider those pics are take pretty high up on a chassis. Mine is slammed on mine and I think it looks tts.

When they came out with this I thought "WTH!?" It looked way too small, and the new ones really do. But this actually looks 10 fold better! Looks good that way Franky...........

The Chev is OK, but the whatever it is other one just don't do it:shock:

But I'll still take the axial one when it comes out, I like to trim to fit "thumbsup"

Its great that people are making bodies with crawlers in mind.

However true 1/10 scale bodies with cut out fenders look alot better. These super small bodies just look goofy.

It's definitely good to see proline finally stepping up and making crawler stuff.
.

Finally?
The Moabs have been out for years.
The first Crawler body on the market was called the Rock Pleaser.
The first 2.2 crawler tires ever, were the 2.2 Moabs about 2 years ago.
Remind me to kill you at the comp on sunday.;-)

personally, im not a fan of these new minimum spec bodies. they make 2.2s look like phuckin monster trucks. the c10 might look decent slammed on a blackjack, but the helios and rockstar are just retarded.

I guess any body is retarded. Maybe you can compare them to our recent love affair with politicians. You can just choose the one that is least likely to look and act retarded.

the big boys are watchin our little sport :D
now i wish they would just pay attention to us super class guys, im sick of all these 2.2 bodies, MAKE MORE 20" long bodies ie MGT sized.

Little sport? What is bigger than crawling in RC right now?
Prolly nothing. BLM3

....and as for Supers....I honestly don't think most companies have that much confidence that Supers will be around for ever.....and even if they do, it is second on the list, just like at most comps around the country.........second to 2.2's.
I could see some new Super tires around the corner though........but let's not turn this into a super thread.

I would rather see them make bodys with longer rear ends that can be cut to fit, do not mold in rear wheel wells. Take a look at old truck pulling bodys, they had blank bedsides, and could be trimmed to fit.

As for the Helios... WTF? At least model it to look like a real crawler, not some ATV out of the Halo game. The other two bodys I would consider buying, but want to see them in person first.

The only way these small bodys look good is when they are slammed to the ground on the chassis, just like on the Blackjack chassis it looks way cool!(just my thought)

these bodys are made with the comp rules in mind, that way you will get amazing performence when getting in those tight gates.

If you dont like these well, dont buy them and get a full size one.
i own many bodys for my crawlers but most of the nice bodys availeble are too wide and too bulky so you have to cut much of the body to clearence everything.

The helios is kinda co, im a halo player myself and will buy this any time, dond't like the rear fenders on the C10 , they just look odd but is there anything a lexan scisser cant do?

I think the new bodys look great!"thumbsup" (when they are slammed down on the chassis that is)

Everyone their own preference

I think your idea has merit as well and I would like to see bodies a little larger than these bobbed and dovetailed. But I'm going to try the chevy body and slam it good "thumbsup"

I am really hating these small bodies... ruining the scale look of this hobby. When shoud have minimum cab dimentions... these are ridiculous.

When did the 2.2 comp class have to have a scale look. If you don't like the bodies build a scale rig and buy a full size body.

People are not trying to make there 2.2 comp rigs look scale. I really like the new bodies. As everyone has stated they look much better slammed. Well that is what people will do when they get them. The companies should advertise and show these bodies mounted that way IMO.

I personally don't like the look of a hacked up full size body. I love my rockstar. All i did was paint it and mount it. Didn't have to do any trimming at all. And i can keep all the factory body lines without it rubbing.

here is mine.

I keep hearing this reference to "slamming" bodies......so.....I looked it up in the dictionary to get the proper and exact meaning. What I found was not a bunch of description....but rather, pictures. Here are the pictures I copied right from Websters Online Edition.
Personally, I think the first picture here of the Helios is the coolest body I have seen on a crawler.

Yeah, little diggler would have to agree with big diggler.

That body is sweet, i want to build a body rig now just so i can run it and get that same bad ass look.

Here we go, fixed it for everyone, now stop beatching about "mini" bodies...

I love the Rockstar and the Helios, but the C-10 just looks too deformed to me. Maybe it's the angle it's shot at - anyone have a side view?

I like the C-10 over any Comp body so far. Dirk talk them into making more Comp sized bodies that look like something. I'm not a big fan of these made up cartoonish/Gamer looking bodies. But thats just me. I know the C-10 isn't perfect 100% scale, but at least you can tell it looks like a Chevy. Why not produce a Jeep body like that. Jeeps are the largest own Crawler 1:1... Why not make a body after one?
