2012-13 SCRCC Series Comp 2 @ Neal Shoals

I hear thunder as well...The comp location looks dry but the rain is headed that direction....not sure if it will miss it or not.
 
Comp is still on for NEAL SHOALS

The rain yall are getting will be gone by the time you get there and the forecast t only shows one more slight chance around 10am...we'll be fine!
 
Great comp today everyone. Thanks all for coming out and enjoying a great day if crawling. Conditions were less than favorable to begin with but as the sun made its appearence and as the temperatures increased, the rocks dried off (for the most par) making for some great crawling. Congrats to winners of each class as well as the top 5 for each class."thumbsup"

Indeed...a great day of crawling! I really enjoy crawling at this location and it was great to run the finals course on some rocks we've never set foot on before 8) All four courses were challenging and capable of being finished well within the time limits...provided you didn't run out of points first :twisted:

Congrats to Marcus on the wins in 1.9 and 2.2S "thumbsup"

Great time today. I really enjoyed being out there with the group. It was good to see some new blood. A big SCRCC welcome to CMYERS1. It was nice to see Jon finally kick a courses ass. Good job. I didn't get to watch Cyrus but from practicing with him, I know all he and Cris need is more rock time. They definitely have the fever. Congrats to Ryan and Marcus for the wins. Here's a few photos of the crawlers from different angles. Hope to have video up tonight or tomorrow.

Thanks guys I had a great time today. Congrats to Ryan for the 2.2 pro win nice driving man. Congrats to all the top 5. Thanks to everyone that help judge, keep time, pick up ryans balls (lol) etc.

Congrats to Kim. It took her becoming prego to finish her first ever course. Great JOB
 
Congrats to everyone in the top 5 yesterday. We had a great time. I honestly hate neal shoals. Thanks to Jeremy and Michael for setting up the finals cousre. We'll see you all at the next one. Ray and Jeremy see you in Bama.

Really? :roll: You made it in to the finals ahead of some other great drivers...I'm pretty sure you should like Neal Shoals "thumbsup"

If we had a way of knowing whether or not the rocks at the bottom of the dam that we used for the finals course were available I'd schedule more comps there. That's about as close to being "middle" of the state for everyone as we can get!

I agree. Those rocks were sweet. It was a very nice finals course. I like this place for the parking, exclusiveness and a great variety of gates. Only one bad point really and that is footing when the dew is on the rocks. You just have to really watch your step,,,,,,Jon."thumbsup"Hope your hip is ok today.
