2012-13 SCRCC Series Comp 8 - May 18th @ Neal Shoals

Had fun today and can't wait to go to battlegrounds!! Wish the whole SCRCC crew could join us and help represent. Congrats to everyone today! I saw some top notch driving!

Looks like a hard day for the mathmaticians in our group. I would say a 69 score beats a 70 and jason should have been in the finals if this was the case.

I've said it before and I'm saying it again. This is why each driver should keep up with their score throughout the day. When you finish the last course...tally your score up or get someone else to do it and confirm that it's correct.

Last night when I was going through the score sheets I had quite a few that didn't even have the course scores tallied  We really need to stay on top of making sure we don't get slack in this area...but in the end it is the DRIVER'S RESPONSIBILITY to verify their score.

This may not be the case at USRCCA series events, but that's how we're going to do it. I don't want the people that are willing to help with adding scores and such to stop doing it because they just don't want to be responsible for a simple miscalculation. I/we can use every helper we can get and there's still several that seem to refuse to lend a hand...but feel the need to be the first to gripe about issues.

I was not there but well said

I stated a simple fact and the truth is our group checked and signed the sheets after our runs with our pro rigs. What else do you want us to do enter them in the computer for you???

It don't matter, as long as we have fun and enjoy each others company

Amen to that. And I did. It was a blast. Hard to believe we even got it in but we've said that about down there before. As always I enjoyed hanging out with the SCRCC crew. It was nice to have Jeremy and Sid at this one, I missed them at the last one. Thank you guys for the coaching and encouragement. Lord knows I needed it.

We missed you Marcus but we thought you were there with some of the gates on those courses. They had Marcus written all over them. Brutal.

I'm kinda getting used to being schooled by either Ryan or Derrick, and this time it was by both of them, which is actually not unusual either now that I think about it. Congrats guys. I like it when it comes down to the last course to decide a winner. (I may like it even more if I could be the one winning instead of the one choking...) Crawling on rocks.....more fun than should be legal for a man to have. Looking forward to the next one.
