We're going going back back to Duluth Duluth! (any BIGGIE fans?8))
This is our Duluth weekend event! We will have a scaler GTG on Saturday, and a Comp on Sunday.
Saturday: We'll meet at Knife river at 12noon and scale it out till the cows come home(or our batteries die, whichever comes first). All are welcome... 1.9's/2.2's, hard bodies/lexan... heck, even if you don't have a 'scaler' bring your comp rig, Wraith, Wrath, or whatever... just come on out! Click HERE for a map and directions via Google.
Sunday: Comp will be held at the Break Wall. We'll start setting up around 9am, and open courses around 10am. Normal rules and classes for our comps. Click HERE for a map/directions from Google.
According to our Billy, both locations are accessible. The recent flooding shouldn't pose any problem for us at these spots.
Comp Classes:
1.9
2.2 pro
2.2 Shafty
Top finishers from last comp that will start the courses are:
1.9
-Diesel Kawboy (Chuck)
-The Ghetto Rig (Pete)
2.2 Pro
-Nicklepimp (Kevin)
-BigBaller (Ryan)
2.2 Shafty
-Nicklepimp (Kevin)
-Diesel Kawboy (Chuck)
After these guys start us off, running order will be standard free-crawl format.
Fees:
-There is a club fee of $3 per comp or $15 for the entire series. This is for the comp on Sunday only. As always, our scaler GTG's are FREE!!!
Don't forget, that this year everyone is judging. Mike came up with the idea of doing the penalty calling first, then run, then score keep. This way you get to see a run before your run. This has been working fine the last couple comps that we've been trying it, so we will continue with that process. We're trying to get everyone involved in judging this year to help take a load off the guys that are always judging. We will help out those who aren't comfortable judging yet. Let us know, and we can make sure someone can walk you through it the first few times. You can also freshen up on your rules knowledge by taking the USRCCA judging quiz-HERE
For more details, check out our Series Schedule & Details thread at the top of the MN section, or click HERE.
We'll see you in Duluth."thumbsup"
