2013-14 SCRCC Series Comp 3 - Dec. 14 @ Bald Rock Ravine

I know I'm ready, since I missed the last. Its been way to long. Travis don't forget to bring my shirt. And Ryan don't forget my lipos. This spot looks real nice.

Got some new skinz painted up, pinned my carbon fiber uppers ( Ryan you were so right), and I'm ready for my first comp with the new chassis:thumbup:

Nice work! Looking forward to seeing how it works. I think by my count there will be at least 4 Remedy trucks at the comp...could be 1 more if the owner gets his stuff together and drives it. All it needs is tires/wheels/skins...and a new Rx which should be here this week.

I think I'm delivering some parts for one of them on Saturday "thumbsup"

In theory there could be 6 Remedy's

Skins look great Constant 8)

Thanks, they are far from perfect but it was my first time using liquid mask. Let's just say it was a learning experience. lol

I'm excited about running my remedy this weekend. Just got to finish up a few loose ends, and it will be ready. I hope the rain holds off for saturday.

Your way ahead of me ....i don't even know what liquid mask is

Its basically a liquid you can airbrush, or hand brush on. That when it drys you can cut out a design with an exacto knife, peel away, then airbrush that section. Then repeat for as many colors, layers or designs you want to use. It takes the place of using painters tape to mask off your design. Makes a nice clean edge just be sure to apply it nice and thick. Otherwise its a pain in the %@$.

Let's just hypothetically say it does rain ( which it won't) but if it does. Are there any plan b locations? Like under the bridge at falls park. I know its limited there, but the time we comped there I had a blast.

Yeah I've keeping an eye on the weather and it looks like a Plan B is in order. I believe Falls Park and particularly under the bridge (if it's pouring) will be our best bet. Maybe not the best location, but definitely still worth my 2.5 hour trip "thumbsup"

Everyone needs to keep their eyes on this thread. I'll make the call on where we're going on Friday evening at the latest. There's still plenty of time for things to change though...

Just wanted everyone to know...If i win the lottery, I would build a kick a$$ INDOOR course 8) ( only to be used when it rains...)

I love comping under the bridge. Good crawling, but its always good times when we all get together. I will try not to leave my crawler there when we leave this time lol
